Can you all promise this will be happening again, so that if I have to bail, I won't be so disappointed? I really would like to go, especially via Pete and Paula's stories. I would really like to meet everyone too, I just feel really bad bailing on my family concerning the other event I planned to be at. After looking at all of the posts, I keep having second thoughts... We shall see...last minute is my specialty...

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been on here much, planning this wedding thing, lol, has me all tied up lately but anyway, Mike and I WILL be there! Very excited! Hoping for good weather! I'll mention it to Mike but I don't think he'll mind if we lead if we still need someone to lead on a trail. C you there! We'll meet with everyone at the Giant in FH @5:30 am!!

Well just got some potentially very bad news... my buddy taylor, who was bringing his wrangler, may not be able to make the trip due to a large slice in his tire. if he can get a new one by then, he will be there..

OKay....for those that are following us up from the Bel Air/Forest Hill area....you need to be @ the Giant Supermarket at the Rock Spring location (Route 24 in Forest Hill) at 5:30am. We leave at 5:45am....no exceptions. (so if you think you might not make it in time, have a GPS to get you to the park) Chris and I will be there in my stock XJ...it's red....and too pretty to wheel! hahahaa

We DO ask that you gas up BEFORE meeting. Grab your breakfast/coffee BEFORE meeting. (there's a 7-11 right next to the parking lot)

Don't forget to bring whatever you'd like for lunch. We eat on the trails. What you bring in, you bring out. There are no garbage cans. We usually eat dinner at the Gooseberry Farms Family Restaurant before heading back home, so bring some $$. It's a fairly cheap truck stop restaurant with very good food.

Apparently, I have lost our CLUB TRAIL RULES page. Along with the page with what we need to bring along. I will try to retrieve them...but until then, a few COMMON SENSE rules:

No drugs, drinking, swearing, guns, fireworks, or sirens. (yes, I said swearing...and though we can ALL struggle with it at times...we try to maintain a family atmosphere, and be an example to others)

No littering, going off the marked trails, running down small trees or shrubs.

We pull to the side for other groups when necessary...sometimes, it's easier for them to pull over...just watch the person in front of you and follow suit.

Bring water, tow strap (no hooks), SPARE TIRE IS A MUST. I don't care if you are the Pope, you need to have a spare tire. Period. You cannot go without it.

Everyone will have to sign a liability waiver from ALPHA/OMEGA and if it's your first time to RC, you'll need to sign theirs also. Not to mention sign up to be a member at the park and pay all related fees.



Hmmmm...what else? I think that's it.

Same here, my doors will be off tonight, along with the soft top (if you want to call it that?!).

I don't mind leading (or spotting of course), I just don't want to "pick" the trails we're going to run, that's all!

I think we're out of shirts, honeybun. I will not have trails picked out, how's that? We can all figure it out as we go...and if people start to think we're unprepared, sloppy, disorganized....we'll go back to a trail itinerary next time. I am in complete agreement that sometimes it's fun to fly by the seat of your pants. I know the trails well, so we should be fine.

Oh, you meant YOU didn't want to have to pick them. hahahaaa! Anyway, we'll be prepared to have trails picked in the event people cannot decide which ones they want. It's going to be a nice day. Only thing I hate is that my husband and I do not have our rigs to wheel.

We are out of shirts... We are working on a reorder soon.

I hate picking trails too. Oh well See ya in the morning.
