I had a blast. Good times when there is no major breakage. Hope to see you all again soon. Is there anyway i could get the video of me and erich almost dieing. Good spotting greg that proves a trust my life with your spotting.

Mike (JeepinUSA) has to do some small editing on the vid and then he'll be posting it as soon as possible! We watched it last night! Epic! I liked when you kissed the steering wheel! It was a "Jeep - Man" moment.

I had a great time too! Nice meeting the new members. I do have to say though, I WILL be getting some sort of mirrors for my tube doors so I don't have to keep looking back the next time I lead! My neck is still sore...

If anyone that took pics on Saturday (I never even took my camera out of the bag) doesn't mind posting links to their pics, that would be great!

I was 100% confident I could get you out of that sticky situation! I'm glad you trusted me. I just WISH I remembered about your Atlas and front dig ability...that would have been AWESOME to see! Next time?!

well, as much as i trust your spotting Greg ( i certainly do after you managing to get EVERYONE through those places) and Steven with your crazy jeep and shear determination to do things a jeep that cannot turn left should not do, i think next time i will opt for a vehicle with functioning seat belts before re-enacting the leap of faith from Indiana Jones lol

Speaking of fenders, though, what’d your dad end up saying about the back one?

Haha that scared the hoooie out of me. but by the end of the day i didnt care anymore.

Dad took the fenders way better than expected. he said i figured something like that would happen.. he was cool with it. im gonna reattach it this weekend if no tabs broke, but first im trimming both my rear wheel-wells to eliminate the problem. im basically cutting the bottom 1/2" of the panels off to make what i call "Liberty flat fenders"

Also hoping to get new rock rails and front & rear bumpers from Rock Lizard Fab in the near future..

Post pics of the flat fenders. I'm having trouble visualizing how that would look. Also may want to check out http://jeepinbyal.com/. I know he sells ARB bumpers, but, I know you'll get a kick out of some of the lifted KJ's he has on his site. Met him in person and he's a very nice guy to deal with.

i will post pics once its done and basically what im doing is trimming the lip of the plastic fenders off that bite ito my tires. once i trim the fenders, they will be flush (height wise) with the metal off the body. hence flat fenders-they dont hang below the body.

and i checked al's. nice stuff but im looking for different stuff. Does anyone know about Mt. Zion offroad's custom work? im tempted to have them build front and rear bumpers for the liberty, but tweaked the way i want.

Any suggestions appreciated!

Thats a really big stretch to call that a flat fender...

Don't know about the custom work there but they do a great job. I would also recommend Cassidy's custom Creations. Jeramey did the stinger on mine and it was awesome. He is reasonable and work is top notch.

ok well i trimmed em up, they look good and sorry for the term flat.. they are more like gutted. but whatever. they work and wont pop off anymore.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we had a great time last weekend. Work has been crazy this week so haven't had much time to do the leisure computer stuff.

The kids really enjoyed the ride - my oldest wants her first vehicle to be a Jeep now. I think my wife is suffering from post traumatic stress because she cringes when I am driving and she sees rocks on the side of the road
