A/O East - 2013 Calendar of Events

2013  A/O CALENDAR OF EVENTS.   As we get closer to some of the events, we can post up more details.  Camping events, etc., we will need to know your availability in advance so we can make reservations.  Also, if folks want to attend a Saturday Rausch event and then wheel on Sunday we can do that as well.

4/13   10th Anniversary of Rausch/ Club Run on NE Property.  Just $10 per vehicle plus membership/passenger fees.  Also RCQ qualifer.

Question about the 4/13 10th annversary run at RC NE property. Are you sure just $10? I thought that normally the NE property was the $35 dailypark fee (plus membership/passengers) plus an additional $10. Is RC waiving the $35 base park fee for that day?

From the Rausch Forum:

"So that means Wednesday through Saturday wheeling will be on the 1,300 acre NE property and the daily vehicle fee will be TEN DOLLARS. Yes, $10 per vehicle, plus the usual fees relating to memberships and passenger fees. That’s a savings of $35 !!!"

I hope we are still on for the Sunday run on 30 June - I'm planning on bringing a friend up that morning, he is active duty Army currently assigned to APG. I think it will be him and his son in his jeep. He has a LJ with 35" tires and AEV equipment. He has done offroading before, but he has only had his current jeep offroad on dirt roads so far.

Update to calendar of events. Food drive is Saturday, October 12th. Details TBD, but please save the date!

The Annual Pine Barrens Clean-Up Run should really be on the October Schedule every year, as its both a trail run, and service related.

This year is the 12th Annual event...and its on a SUNDAY every year at this time. (Oct 27 this year)

Our apologies guys. We have not been posting a bunch lately mostly due to the fact that my wife and I just sold our house. So September was a hectic month. Anyway, hopefully we will be in a more quiet period.

FYI- The meet and great was a placeholder for someone's special 40th B-day.

Anyway, looks like we had 10/26 reserved for a possible Rausch Creek trip- any takers?

Don't forget about the food drive at Thompson Chrysler Jeep next Saturday, October 12th!

i can do a 10/26 run.

I would do 10/26 at RC, but I'm already committed to the Annual Pine Barrens Clean-up Run on 10/27....where we work with the Rangers to help keep clear the 100's of miles of free trails, so that they stay open to off roaders, for free.

We are expecting a few hundred trucks to show up based upon previous years attendance/cooperation.

Who is involved in the food drive? Do we get to park or ... What's going on???

Plan to arrive at Thompson Jeep on Rt. 40 Edgewood by 9:30 a.m. Yes, they will have parking for us so bring your jeep!!!

The food drive is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

We would ask that as many members as possible turn out, even if you can only hang out with us for a little while and don't forget to bring a bag of food. Tell as many people as you can and encourage them to stop by with a bag of food!

For those that want to caravan-meeting at the Park n Ride at 6:30 a.m.
