| I often bring extras/overstock items from work, to our veterinarian (Hickory Veterinary Hospital) and they are always grateful for the donation. They have taken care of all 4 of our furry kids....and 2.5 weeks ago, saved Paco's life, after being stung by a bee and going into anaphylactic shock. They also saved our cat Jeeper from a similar reaction from one of his vaccinations. They, along with their kennel next door, have a need for blankets and towels of all sizes. I'm hoping we can get some together for them. The blankets can be used, they do not have to be brand new...the towels too. I am willing to pick up donations either @ your home or at a meeting place between yours and mine. I'm also posting a sign at work and hope to have enough to also bring blankeys to the Harford County Humane Society. Please help us by donating your extra blankets and towels. Thank you! | |

| That's awesome Pattey! I do the same thing at the Defender of Animal Rights off of Old York Rd. in Phoenix. We donate old blankets and towels, and other stuff like office paper, bleach and cat litter. It's an awesome way to help the animal shelters in the community and they appreciate it! I'm so glad you posted this! The creatures need a voice too, and I'm glad to speak out for them (bock-meow) and glad to see others doing it too! It's a small contribution, but in the long run, means a lot! I'll bring some blankets and towels to the meeting too!! Those members who are farther away just keep in mind your local shelters. Blankets, towels, treats, toys, and even office supplies to keep the non-profit organizations up and running! and your local veterinary clinics! Thank You again!!! | |

| Thanks so much you guys! Bringing toys to the shelter is how we met Gunther and Roxanne (to those of you living in a cave, they're 2 of our 4 furry-kids) The shelters and hospitals need help too and I thank you guys for helping! | |

| Anyone else visiting the forum have anything to offer? As I said, we're willing to pick up. Thank you for your participation. | |

| Hey there! I am cleaning out my closets. I will have a donation to you shortly. Thanks for doing this - both of our furry kids were rescues. The shelters and the clinics are really hurting for supplies right now, so this is sorely needed. | |
