| Had a BLAST this weekend on the "see the pretty colors" weekend as Greg called it...
Second Month out beyond the typical RC trip and our second Wow God is talking to us moment
We were Rock'n my mothers Honda Odyssey with all six of us in it, the mountains were beautiful, and the weather was just a bit cold but really nice. Mid afternoon we came upon a accident up on the road, a car stopped quickly due to deer traffic and the motorcycle behind him went over trying to stop. We got there and he was trying to move. Pattey from the driver seat is saying "Don't move him... " so we park in the middle of the road and all get out. There were some others that had stopped also. Long story short we waited with him and his wife while waiting forest rangers and the paramedics to get there. We prayed around Ron (driver) and his wife.
In the end looking back on it like I said earlier it was another situation that God wanted us to be there for. THIS IS WHAT THE CLUB IS ABOUT! We don't know how God will use us in any situation but He can use us. We just have to be out there to be used!
Oh yeah, we got some good pictures and they will be posted soon.

| It WAS an awesome trip!!! I highly recommend we do it again, in the summer with no tops! driving down with the six of us in the minivan ROCKED. The laughter was insane and we really had fun being together. It was great stopping at DINOSAUR LAND too!!! I have a bunch of pics I will get uploaded ASAP. I still haven't heard from Bernita about Ron's condition, but I'm sure they're busy trying to get him better and get back in order after saturday's accident. It really was amazing how everyone stepped up and helped. It felt good to be there for someone at such a rotten time. Thank you to my friends, who amaze me on a daily basis....I love you guys!!!Pictures coming. | |

| Wow… awesome report! Always hate to hear when someone gets hurt, but it’s good to hear that someone’s there to help when it does.
I was starting to wonder how the trip went when there were no posts!?! Looking forward to the pics, and keep us posted on the Ron’s condition.

| We received a note from Bernita - Ron's wife. Ron is doing better. He had three broken ribs! He is still very sore but starting to feel better. After Ron recovers they are planning to head south to visit their son.
We wish Ron and Bernita the best and are praying for his full recovery and safe travels.

| Glad you all had a great time. Skyline Drive is just fantastic. I've never been there in the Fall, but I can just imagine the colors there. That is some of the nicest country along the east coast.
I usually do it in the Summer on the motorcycle (usually a part of a week long trip down the Blue Ridge Parkway to the Smokies). That is universally recognized as one of the two best motorcycle rides east of the Missisippi (the other being The Tail of The Dragon) It has been a good number of years since I have done that run, and I am getting the itch to go down and do the ride the Smokies again. Definitely next Summer if I get the new motorcycle I want to get, maybe next Summer if I have to fix up the existing motorcycle (due for a lot of preventative service before I am confident it is good for a week or more of touring). I'll stop by and say hi to you guys if I do the run next year.
