August 22/23 Weekend

I am in a wedding on the 19th and I am working on the 20th. The reason this trip is big is because from this point out my weekends are pretty much booked. I work for 3 or 4 professioinal sports teams. And they all love playing on the weekends.

i am wheeling sunday i will do 13 ( purple with ya no problem). so far my rubi buddy Kevin ) is wanting to come up to and try out his new lift also. if im wheeling that club weekend and people want to go on sunday and wheel to i be the giude if your ok with that. i hate to wheel just one day. it feels like a waste of gas to get the jeep up there.

hahaha, I know the feeling on gas. But I love me some deadskins, and they are playing on the 22nd. I have no problem running in the front of a group either. Just would prefer not to do it on my first run with the club.

I am still planning on wheeling on Sunday, if anyone else is going to wheel. If I am going to drive all the way out there on a weekend, I want to wheel.

So it is atleast 3, probably 4 vehicles so far. Not bad.

Thanks for the compliment on guiding. I just can't guide on blacks, not built up enough.

Not sure if I can do Trail 13. Will have see how I am doing when we get there. If I don't do 13, I can just run around and meet the group at the exit.

Hi Guys!

I so wish this month's run was THIS weekend, the 15th & 16th. Terri, Jayelee, and I will be at Lake Wallenpaupack the weekend of the 22nd & 23rd, so we miss yet another Monthly Ride. ugh. But I did go to RC on August 8th for my "other club's" (TTORA) mini-Takover...I ran Crawl Daddy, Otter's, and Rock Creek (finally). Did I mention that my 4Runner caught on FIRE on Crawl Daddy??!?!? And lets just say, I dented quite a bit of my already existing dents. Yeah.....more to follow.....

Holy COW, kiddo!!! Sounds like an adventurous weekend!!! Chris and I were just talking about you when he asked if I'd read this. (we were talking about Sunset Beach, NC...you and the family.....but we'll talk about THAT later...) Hope you didn't have too much damage!!!!

We're hoping to see you guys soon! Seems this summer has flown by and we have hardly seen eachother! I feel like we've hardly wheeled...even though we haven't missed a month. We've had every weekend filled and it doesn't get better until October. *sigh* anyway...we'll talk soon. Chris said he was going to give you a call. Hug Terri and Jaylee for me.

Been awhile im sorry working 40hrs a week and 20 hrs on Explorer Getting her ready for the last comp. I wont be able to wheel sunday with you guys Sorry im going with my other club Keystone Krawlers If im not broke. LOL

I will be there this time fridaynight setting up are tent and hoooie cause my wife and kids and maybe a few friends and maybe a few more family members will show to watch me on saturday. So i'll be staying over untill late sunday afternoon or so my wife and kids will most likey leave sunday morning before i head on trails.

I plan on haveing a good time this time just makes me more happy that my wife and kids will be there so if you guys want to stop in say hello i'll be there.


Ken i was just going to email u asking u if you were going LOL also you all need to check out my new stuff on EXplorer
new bumper,half doors,roll cage,fixed bracket, fixed diff. Tell me how my new doors look.

Hey folks,


I have a quick question or two. Would any of you fine folks be trailering your off road vehicles to the park next weekend? And if you are, would I be able to chain my doors to the trailer? I am still debating if I want to bring them.

I also just made some home made disconnects for my sway bar. I am pretty excited about having flex for this trip!!!!

I know that Steve will be. I don't think that you would have to chain them though. I would honestly leave $100 bill in the dash of my truck and expect it to be there when I got back, or a note saying "dummy you left this on the dash, come see me to get it."

I had no problem with the CJ. I left that thing everywhere with the keys in it. The TJ makes me kinda nervous. Being that I just got it and what not. I am still up in the air about it.

I will be there on Sat for Judging but leaving Sat night after the fireworks and some campfire fun! I do not have the $$ to tow the Jeep up, so no wheel'n for me.

I'm in on Sunday. I'm good for greens, blues and "purples".
I got Jeff to explode his hub on 13 once before. Hoping to see him make it through unscathed this time.
I will be arriving Sunday morning. I may have missed it in this or another thread, but what time do y'all try and get out of the parking lot?

ill be there with my trailer. you can chain them down no problem. i would like to do some purples and blacks. i will be up saturday morning prolly around 8:30 to 9:00.

We usually try to hit the trails sometime around 9:00, if everyone can get ready by then. This gives people time to get in, pay, and air down. In any event, we wait until all are accounted for.

For those of you that don't know me and are coming in on Sunday, I am the guy with the black, slightly dented Xterra with NJ plates on it.

Johnny, are you leaving from this area or out in WV? I am going to try to get up there before 8am. Not sure if it will happen. And Johnny, I do believe I got one of your hubs to come lose later in that same day. I was close to getting even with you!!!! I will exact revenge!!!!!!!

Just be careful talking about hubs. The last time I went out with Alpha/Omega, I sheared all six bolts that hold the Warn hub to the wheel. They are so nasty to try to extract when they shear off that I had to replace assembly which they bolt on to. That is not a cheap job either.
