| I know this is posted somewhere else but I will do it again here. Mountain Christian and about 80 other churches in our area are getting together on Sat April 25 and do things to help our communities. Our Bible study is going to do this as a group but could always use more help. It's only for a few hours. Call me 443-866-1500 or Pattey 443-866-1035 if you are interested in joining us. No guilt or anything intended but this kind of opportunity is why we started this new club....... | |

| Wow......stumbled by this. I figured I'd re-post as it shows a clear pcture of WHY we feel the need to light some fires under some butts. At least you can see what we mean by there being no answer when calling people to serve. There wasn't even a "I can't make it, sorry". Just me and Chris talking to eachother, which we can do in our own home without the aid of a computer.....but there was nothing. That needs to change for us to be what we are called to be. I guess I never posted up about how that day went. It was Samantha and Dennis (mudslinger), Dennis' mom and dad, and me and Chris. We went to NORMANDY FARM in Maryland. It's a horse farm that serves handicapped children and adults. They do therapeudic riding. We painted a shed and one of the therapy ramps that they use to lead people in wheelchairs onto the horses, built kickboards inside one of the barns, helped clear brush, and make small repairs. It was a beautiful day and the beginning of a great friendship with Sam and Dennis. We got a lot done and it was awesome seeing the kids smiling while riding on those horses!!! | |
