| Hi there,
Another new mermber from Bel Air MD. I've owned Jeeps sine 1993, have not done much offroading, but would like to do more. My current jeep is a 2000 TJ with 2" lift, 31s, and just regeared from 3.07 to a more respectable 3.73 (with 3 speed auto and I6). You can also find me from time to time on wranglerforum or the forum at RC4x4.org (username is Green Bay TJ on both forums). As far as offraoding goes, I'm pretty much a newb. I've done one jeep jamboree at Pine Barrens 2 years ago, and went on a guided green tour at RC a couple months ago.
I'm originally from Wisconsin, hence my username, but my wife is a Ravens fan.
Other activities - sing in my church choir, committee chair for my son's cub scout pack, we'll see what is involved once my son starts football, and looks like the church is starting a grade-school youth group (yeah, I volunteered to help there if needed).
Cheers Jeff | |

| Hi Jeff
Welcome aboard. There are a lot of good people in this club and I'm sure you will fit in just fine. I have never been to the Pines, so maybe sometime this year I can get up there. I hear it's wet. | |

| Welcome. We do a annual run to the pine barrens every year in may and camp for the weekend. ALWAYS a good time. Sounds like you are a busy man, but if you can get up to the Pa Jeep show the weekend of the 21st Pattey and I will be there visiting from AZ It would be great to meet you, plus its a great show! Lets see some pictures of the Jeep | |

| Welcome! Great to see you on the fourm! So long as you are not a Steelers fan (sorry Ciscoape) you are just fine! I am kidding of course, everyone is welcome. We've got a good group here and we try to be very family focused. Definitely try to stop by at PA Jeeps- it is a great time! We hope to meet you soon! | |

| A great big Welcome and thanks for being on the forum! I am Mudslinger's wife and definitely a newb (heck, I just got my Jeep a week ago) although I have been around the club for awhile. The club is ummm....encouraging me to take it offroad at Rausch- I am looking forward to it - I think! Anyway, we have a mix of new folks and some old pros- but I think you will find that everyone we wheel with is really interested in making sure you have a good time and are comfortable with what you are doing. As Mudslinger said, we are faith and family focused so we seem to have a good time whatever it is we are doing. It sounds like you are quite busy, but I do hope you get a chance to come out with us. We try to keep the forum up to date as much as possible as far as what the upcoming events are. We also have a facebook page and we try to post there as well. The PA Jeeps show is a great show. There are usually several hundred Jeeps, most of your big vendors are there and a pretty neat obstacle course for participants in the show. Our club hosts a booth at the show Saturday and Sunday. Just so you know,on July 28th we are planning a club run to Rausch. Hope to meet you soon! | |

| I'll get a pic up once I figure out how to post on this forum. I usually have better luck with Photobucket than I do with Imageshack. I had traded some messages with Pattey, was already planning on coming up to RC on the 28th for a guided greens day (posted a lot of this already in the RC topic). So we'll plan on meeting the caravan up at RC since we'll be camping in the aera already. We'll run with the club instead of the guided green tour. Pattey suggested I come up to the PA Jeeps show (York, right?) to meet some of the club, not sure if that will happen or not yet. If it does, would have to be Saturday only since Sunday is one of two summer choir dates at church. | |

| Now I have an avatar. Hooray! It's about 2 years old, at Pine Barrens Oct 2010, before the lift and the flatties. | |

| @Mudslinger - I found the liability waiver, should get this in the mail to you tomorrow. @JeepGurl - I'm pretty sure mine is the only green wrangler in the area with the Packers helmets on the sides. There was another green wrangler a few years ago in the Havre de Grace area that had the Packers spare tire cover. | |

| @T-Case - if you like mud, you'll like the Pines. Mud and sand, mostly flatish, no rocks to speak of. I was there in the fall, was told you really get wet in the spring with the run off from the winter melt down. @Orangecrush - I had already "liked" the facebook page, had browsed the forum here for a month or so trying to decide if I wanted to join an offroad club. The idea of a Christian offroad club was very appealing. Is your new jeep a '12 with the new Pentastar engine?

| We are glad you found us! Yes, it is a 2012 with the Pentastar engine. I love it! Can't wait to see how it does on the trails...I think. | |

| Here are some pics of my jeep from RC a couple months ago. Were taken by a couple in a vehicle ahead of our our jeep in the tour group. These are greens. The first pic is in Pit Jr. in the NE property at RC. Jeep looks different now - has all flatties installed, finally got rid of the milkjugs, and has black wheels with less BS - so the tires are about flush with edge of the flatties. I also have the lift in these photos. I was disco'd in these pics, did not like the bind the sway bar had on my winchplate and the bushings (impossible to rotate the sway bar when disco'd), so now have a Currie AR instead of stock swaybar. Also just regeared and upgraded axle shafts (still D35, I wanted to keep ABS for DD), so looking forward to test out new equipment at RC. I still need to properly stretch and spool the wire rope on my winch. I started a topic under Member's Rigs - moved 2nd photo there. | |
