How are things going with your son? Did you ever find that book I mentioned?
Maybe you can join us on Skyline Drive in October! Yeah, we got the new card - Monday. By then the rates were up. We spent the weekend at an arts and craft show, selling Andrea's jewelry she makes. Our first show. And we actually made a profit! Had a lot of people take her cards, and ask about a website. So that's what we have to work on this weekend, doggonnit. We would love to join in on the Skyline drive trip. Haden's attitude is a little better. His GF is a sweet girl, and works full time while going to school. She always helpful when she comes over. So despite her poor choice in matters of faith, we like her, and she does provide some good influences as well as the bad. We try to show her love, and wait for the moment to share our faith with her. And I'm sorry, I have not had a chance to go get that book. I'll look for it this weekend.

| JEWELRY!!!! You be sure to post up a link to a website once it's done!!! I used to make jewelry, but when I left Alaska, I sold all my stuff. I'd love to start again, but for now, I'll just have to buy Andrea's!!! hahahaaa Congrats on the profit and success at the show!
Sounds like you guys are doing exactly the right thing as far as Haden and his girlfriend go. They're BOTH lucky to have level headed Christians like you to be an influence. They'll come around in time...God's time. I did.
Hope you can make it in October. The room charges for that are climbing. Not sure what we're going to do....but I'm going to get on it this coming week.

| That was one of the best wheelin' trips I've been on! Thank you EVERYONE for being there and making it great!!! Chris and I kept talking about how fun it was in Sam and Den's room last night playing the Skittles Game and listening to the girls talk about their mission trip adventures. Pete and Paula....we were more than impressed with how lovely, wonderful, beautiful (and a million other good things) those 3 girls are. I'm sure Pete would beg to differ after being stuck with 3 giggly girls in a Jeep all weekend, but it was a great pleasure to have had them with us. Mike and Tina, you guys rock and I'm glad we finally had a run where we were ALL able to go and no one cancelled!!! LOVE hanging out with you guys. Sam and Dennis, you were amazing "hosts" and lead us on the greatest trail ride I've seen in a long time. It was fun, no worries, but had some really neat areas, yet actually felt like wheeling. We loved the park and my Jeep is still out in the driveway muddy. Great job!!!! I'm glad you got home in one piece....and we'll do whatever we can to help you fix what needs fixin'. There's so much more I wanna say...but it's getting late, and regardless of the 2 hour nap we took when we got home, I'm SO ready for bed already!!! | |

| Even though I was sicker than a dog and my back was tighter than a drum, thanks to the company we had an excellent time!!
I’ll pass on the compliments to the girls… we’re proud of them. When we asked them what their favorite part of the trip was, they said game night, so that’s their way of saying, “you guys’ are great”.
Glad to hear the rig is fine – make sure they go good on that warranty claim! Sorry you guys couldn’t make the Sunday run to Paw Paw, we had fun with Mike and Tina.
I’m sure everyone is still compiling pictures, but for those that couldn’t make it, I’ve updated the map with some of the things we did and with additional lodging options if you’re not camping. If anyone else ever decides to go let us know – we’re up for it again.

| Chris and I said that the game with everyone was the best part too. The wheeling rocked, but laughing that hard and teasing eachother and then hearing the girls talk about their mission trip....well, that was awesome. He had a blast. I'm sorry you were so sick. We're so glad you made it though!!! I was sooo happy to finally have a planned run that actually happened!!! I'm still getting pictures onto PHOTOBUCKET. I'll get them up either tonight or tomorrow. PS. Whattya think of the new header? I know Pete and Chris' Jeeps are missing....but I thought having the "board members" Jeeps up there could be cool. Maybe I can make one of this pic, and add Pete's and Chris' into it with photoshop...or make a collage or something. | |

| Glad you all had a good time. I had fun, and was busy with the motorcycle all weekend. I ended up doing 3 runs this past weekend. The first run was a charity run. http://wheelsoffirerun.com/ It lasted from 10:00 until 3:00. It benefited a Christian mens organization. http://manconference.com/v2/index.php. It also benefited a relief bus for the homeless. Right after that, i went on a second run, which was my club's big annual run. We went camping along the upper Delaware river in NY, just outside Port Jervis NY. Had about 40 members show up, and had a great time. On my way home Sunday, I accidentally came across another charity run, the Elvis Run. http://www.streetsoffire.com/ It had been postponed from the previous week. When I cam across it, I decided to make the weekend a hat trick - three runs. Needless to say, I was pretty beat by Sunday night. But it was a good time. k_enn | |
