Vanessa Lightner

I just got off the phone with Chris. He's on his way to York to be with Mike. Apparently Vanessa has had some complications since the delivery. Chris has asked everyone to keep Vanessa and Mike in their prayers until this situation is under control.

Father God we come to you this evening with praise and thanks for bringing little Bobby into this world. We come to you asking for you to put your healing hand to Vanessa. We know all things are possible thru you and you are the great physician. Praise be to you LORD GOD!!!

It's 1am...just got in from the hospital. Chris is going to stay there overnight for Mike to have someone to come out
to when he needs to talk. They didn't let us see Vanessa. She's in a "off limits" area. From what we know, they
have ruled out (but hopefully will still watch just in case) that she is bleeding in her abdomen (she had a
c-section at 3 am monday morning) WHICH IS GREAT NEWS. She has an infection that is being treated with
antibiotics. Her blood pressure and heart rate were/are dangerously high and she's on a drug to prevent seizures.

We'll know more tomorrow. Please keep her in your prayers that God heals her. Pray Mike be strong and able
to help Vanessa through this. Pray that Bobby remain healthy and grow up to be just as wonderful as his parents!!!

Vanessa was doing much better last night. They were going to take her off of the magnesium
and send her back to her room. No word on when she can go home....but she's safe there, so
any measures taken are good ones. Hopefully, it'll be very soon, though....so they can take
Bobby home and start a wonderful new chapter in their lives. PLus, I believe people heal better
at home than in a hospital.
