Rausch Creek April 21st

Hey gang! We have a Raushc Creek run scheduled for Saturday, April 21st. Just checking to see who is still interested in going. We can plan on caraving up for those who live local to me. We will plan on meeting at the staging area at 9 am.

Unfortunately, I will be at school that weekend and it will be close to exam time. I wish i could go.

The other, BIGGER reason i cant go is that i have a leak in my front end im trying to locate, but i believe it is coming from my front differential, which im pretty sure i cracked..

Can you just weld the crack to fix it (And add a skid the prevent it from happening again...?)

no i cannot because of crack location and the fact that the diff is aluminum.. if i knew how to weld that, i would.

im just gonna go to a junk yard, cannibalize a liberty for the stock d30 and get it over with. i dont feel like paying 400+ for a new stock one, and upgraded steel ones are 1500.

Awesome thanks! and i can probably meet in Harford county if you PM me the address we'll be starting from, i'm not far from the harford county line so i wouldn't mind joining in the convoy.

My rig didn't get fixed in time....and my son had kidney failure, so between the two issues...I'm not making it.

(Just got back from the hospital)

TJ- so sorry to hear about your son. Please know you guys are in our prayers and please keep us updated as to how he is doing.

As far as Rausch today...it was pretty close to a perfect day. The weather turned out to be better than any of us expected. We seemed to have a lot of the trails to ourselves and we were with the best wheeling group ever (with the exception of two of our members who are now on the West Coast).

Thanks Mike, Tina and Eric=we had a blast.

Its been a rough year...my brother is now on dialysis due to kidney failure, and I was being prepped for donation...when my oldest son had complete kidney shut down.

Shocked

So its been VERY frustrating knowing which way to go...I feel like a wish bone right now.

Add to that that I'm self-employed, I use the truck for work, and I have not had time to finish repairs.

Without the work to build a buffer to live on during recuperation, I can't do a donation to either of them w/o selling the house....and I have not been self employed long enough to qualify for a mortgage on a new one...(I was laid off when the market crashed ~ 2008, fell and got injured so I couldn't work/get unemployment, and had to start a new business during the recession...~ 2010 because after ~ 1000+ resumes, etc...I could not get a new job (Had to hire myself).

I managed somehow to double sales every year despite the economy (Working ~ 16 hrs/day 7 days /week)...and just when things are looking good economically for the new biz, THIS all hits....

..so I'd be forced to sell when the market is in the toilet, and to buy later when everything is higher....and after I used up all the money from the sale to live on....and after my clients had to go elsewhere because I was not available....

TJ: We cannot imagine how difficult this time is for you and it is so hard to find comfort in times like this. Just know that we are thinking and praying for you and your family. Hopefully, you can find some comfort in that no matter how rough the storm gets, God is there and he will see you through even though it at times does not feel like it.
