| OK folks, I just checked the weather for Tremont, PA, for Saturday and there's only a 10% chance of precipitation. However, . . . the low will be 13 degrees F and the high will be 14 degrees F. I'm really starting to chicken out. I don't mind breaking down in decent weather, but even the prospect of breaking down in sub-freezing temperatures leaves me scared silly!
The high temperature on Monday is only going to be 24, and even that scares me.
Just be forewarned that there's a better than 50/50 chance that I'll be a no-show both days. |

| I am horrible at the 'run down' thing. But if you want to know what we did....COME OUT ON A RIDE!
"Thank you"s go to:
Jimmy Mike and Carla Robby RJ and Celia Angela and Jeff Michelle and George Greg Christine (and her daughter and 2 nieces) My beautiful other half, Chris, for being a great leader even if I complain that he's not watching behind him enough!
It was a great time and we were happy to finally meet RJ's wife, Celia (who rocked an icy mud pit and a couple other obstacles as a first time wheeler!) But Celia wasn't the only first timer.... Angela & Jeff and Michelle & George were noobs that kicked some trail too. Hopefully, we have them all hooked. We know Angela is, she had a permagrin the whole day!!
And of course, Jimmy, Robby, Greg, and Mike....our Usual Suspects were there and we couldn't have been happier. We're psyched that Carla came......as I type this, the lucky lady is at the Ravens/Steelers game! Hope you had a blast, Carla!
We had a woman named Christine with us and then she vanished....we hope we get to see her again. But if you're out there, Christine....THANKS FOR COMING! | |

| So we're hooked..... and thanks to all who rode for just being all round friendly, giving out tips for us newbies, and being patient with us as we navigated our first ride. We (jeff/ang and george/michelle) had a great time and will definately be coming out for more rides. As long as it's not as cold as it was....BRRRR!! It was nice to meet everyone and hope to see you all soon! Angela/Jeff ps had to post this pic...it cracks me up! | |

| RJ and Celia checking in... We just wanted to thank everyone for a great time this weekend. The ice was rather challenging, but fun. Celia is now completely hooked on wheeling. She even wants a Jeep herself... Just Kidding. But hopefully she'll come around. Also, wanted to thank everyone who helped me with my little tire blow out. It's great to wheel with a supportive crew like you guys. Thanks to all and see you next month... God Bless! |
