"Bits"

So, at the parade, I was asked to remove my "dangling bits" from the rear of my Jeep. No big deal as there are little kids there and all.
However, it seems that at most A/O functions I attend, I am asked to remove or cover them.
Even though 90% of you know me (and my odd sense of humor), I sometimes feel like I am criticized for having them. Even at Rausch, when I pulled them off on the rocks, no one wanted to touch them. Really? They're just plastic.
So, even though they were the first thing I ever added to my Jeep, I will be removing them. So no one will have to worry about them.

From my perspective, I don’t want to touch someone else’s junk, even if it’s plastic – call me phobic.

I think all of us have some quirky aspects to our humor (except for me, of course, I’m as straight as a Texas highway, right Chris?).

Anyway, I think the concern may have been the scrutiny we receive from the non-believing public and they’re desire to find anything they can point to, so they can call us hypocrites, discount us, and discount God . . . in their minds.
