| Greetings, I have been wheeling for many years and would like to get in touch with people in the Abingdon area. I have a son who is getting old enough to come on a ride and like the family aspect of the club, in addition to promoting the faith. I am currently in the service and have moved around but have been to Rausch and even Paragon more than i can remember. I have had many jeeps and have a 2014 jk and trail rig. i also enjoy helping with repairs and mods etc. Since i have moved to abingdon i would like a good group to hang with or work on projects. i will alyways help if i can with welding or whatever needs to be done. i believe there are some peeps from the club in my neighborhood off of sewell rd. l look forward to meeting everyone and share a trail ride thanks vince

| Welcome!!! It sounds like you live by Mike and Tina... Green TJ and Maroon Cherokee? We would love to have you join us anytime, and I also enjoy working on Jeeps when i can, so a wrenching party is always fun. The club is going camping this weekend in NJ, and I think we have a trip to Rausch at the end of the month... but have to check.
What kind of trail rig do you have? What level of trails? We try and stick to what the least built Jeep will handle, but some of us with dedicated trailer queens go run the harder stuff when we can.
Oh by the way, my name is Chris, my wife Pattey and I live in Forest Hill, so we are not that far away. Most of the club is in the Harford County area. | |

| Thanks for the reply. I always see so many jeeps running around Harford County but have not found a solid club. Its good to know I can hook up with some local peeps. As for my rig---01' tj, 60 front and 14 bolt rear locked on 39s, caged, comp cut, coilovers etc. It is built for reds and blacks. Honestly, for me at this point, wheeling is more of a social hobby and a way to meet some good people who share my interest. I enjoy getting out with new people and watch their eyes with how capable these rigs can be. Also, It will be a way to get little man outdoors with his pops and start learning how to work on cars. It makes no difference what trail I run as long as I am out having fun. Being in the service makes it hard to get out sometimes so I try to make it count. I have always made new friends wheeling and wrenching but alas they have all moved away. Below is a quick vid of the rig on the CR notch. I hope to meet up soon. P.S. I am tentatively looking to go the weekend of the 17th or 18th (weather dependent)to break the rig in for the season. Cheers, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w58GhJqKWrQ | |

| Awesome video, I was looking at that notch when I went there in Jan. It was too snowy to try that day, but swore I am getting on it this summer. My wife and I just moved back from AZ, so my current jeep has not spent alot of time at RC yet but did some awesome stuff in the west. Here is a video from AZ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjOLd8nDqwI&feature=share&list=UUyBMXd_RKLe-bWJDhmCPkug&index=10Mines only on 37's but hopefully will grow in the future. It looks like you and I would have some fun, I like that look on peoples face too. My friend Greg is going on the 17th... and I want to join, but I just had surgery last week and don't think the Dr or my wife will clear me... He has a well built 4 runner. Let me know if you need a group that weekend and I can get you hooked up with him. I am a big maybe at this point that weekend. If there is not a club run the weekends you are available, just let me know. Greg will go any weekend (he is in Jersey) and as long as I don't have other plans, my wife loves for me to be out of the house for a day. My number is 4432433477 I look forward to meeting/wheeling with you soon. We have random get togethers for games or dinner so keep a eye out for a meet and greet. If you are on Facebook, we post alot of them there also. Personally I am not that big a fan of Facebook, but it gets the word out. By the way... Thank you for your service!! | |

| Hi Vince! My name is Tina and my husband is Mike. Glad you found us! We live off of Bush rd, off of Sewell. You may have seen my husbands green 98' TJ around town with the alpha/omega sticker on the front windshield. I have a 99' cherokee but it's not tagged, strictly for the trails. Nice video of the rig! Hope you and your son can make it out to some events with us! We look forward to meeting you! Hey, since your close mabye we could say hey in person, sometimes we go up to ruby Tuesdays in riverside which is like 5 minutes from our house! And thank you for your service! | |

| Hi Vince, Jeff here. I have one of the least built jeeps in the club. A '13 JkU on 32s with a 2" puck lift. Unfortunately at times it does not take much convincing for me to try some of the blues and even a blue black once. I guess if you don't get stuck every so often you're not having fun (as long as you don't bust up a daily driver). I'm in Bel Air. Hope to meet you some time. | |

| Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, I do not have a facebook account for security reasons etc. But I would certainly meet up if for dinner etc. If any meetups occur feel free to text me.

| Welcome to the club. I joined almost two years ago and I love these people. So different from other clubs I've hung out with. I used to live in Abingdon (Deep Well Ct.) but I now live in Bel Air. I have a yellow/black n red LJ with a Poison Spyder sticker on the windshield. Awesome rig! Hope to see you out on the trails someday.... | |
