| i am thinking about buying a wj to replace our jetta. i was wondering what if any problems they are prone to having or if there are certain features to stay away from. like full time 4wd, I6 vs v8. | |

| I have about 160k on my WJ and this thing has been great. Look out for the aluminum dana 44 rear and anything except the select track. The select track is your best option but other t-cases will be fine. Mine has the 4.0 and just recently the head cracked, but other than that, that has been the only issue. I have a 2.5" lift, it's been on the trails in western md. and Paragon when it was open. Hope this helps..

| We got Pattey one a little while ago and it has been great. I personally would look for a 4.0 better on gas and Pattey still races people in her's.. | |
