WOUNDED HERO RUN- MAY 11th.

OK gang. The Wounded Hero run is less than a month away.

Here is who I have confirmed:

Greenbay and I will be helping Rausch Creek out with registration, etc., for a couple of hours in the morning. Alpha/Omega is also hosting a booth at the run so I think Jeepgurl will help to man the booth. If I do not have you on this list and you have signed up - PLEASE, let me know. It is going be incredibly hectic that day and we need a count of members for us and Rausch.

Mudslinger and I, along with Greenbay, will be heading up to Rausch on Friday night and staying at the Comfort Inn there. If anyone else is interested in doing that the Rausch rate is $65.00 plus tax. The phone number for the Comfort Inn is 570-345-8031. I would book now because rooms will fill up quickly. If you are going to stay Friday night, let me know.

For those heading to Rausch on Saturday morning, the ride is planned to START at 9 a.m. This means you need to be at the Park by at least 8:00 -8:15 a.m. to register, air down, etc.

I will be happy to come out there and help, i will not be able to stay extremely late as i got a burn scheduled the next day in one of my Fire courses, but i do believe this is important enough to take out a day of rest and come up for a while.

Remember the ride starts at 9 a.m. sharp so you need to be signed in, ready, air downed, etc., by 8:45 a.m. I think everyone has my cell phone number. When you arrive call me. When you check in, let Rausch know that you are riding with Alpha Omega.

I'm signed up for sat, with running the 5.13s I can't go up 83 so I'm taking the back way up. Should be in pine grove around 8.

For those bringing passengers....please make sure your passengers have also signed up for the ride. Also, I would like to ask that everyone attending has at least one seat available to take a wounded hero with you. Remember, the point of the ride is to take the wounded heroes out for a day of trail fun! We have been asked by Rausch to escort as many of the wounded heroes as we can, so let's have a good turnout.

Took the day off Monday to get all the damage repaired!
Will “try” and be there early to help setup.

good amount of people showed up and everywhere i looked i saw A/O stickers. had a great time with you all yesterday. even though i broke stuff.
rear drive shaft and a aluminum radiator ( electric fan flexed into the the radiator ). thank you guys for pulling me out of the south side. what an a event getting me out of the mud hole with only front wheel drive and my jeep over heating.

yeah they all looked at me and i think they new me before i knew them. lol. took me a couple of minutes to remember then i noticed the rigs that were there and everything clicked together. im slow i admit it.

i think i put a good show right before i broke my rear drive shaft by binding my rear and making my front wheels come about 3 to 4 feet off the ground.
it looked like i was taking off from a drag strip.

Want pictures!!!! You ALWAYS put on a good show! I think I still have pics in my photobucket from the time you and Chris both messed up your Jeeps in that huge mud hole.
