| very excited for this run. As far as a start time- we usually plan on leaving the park n ride at 83 and 439 around 6:00 a.m. so we can be at Rausch by 8:30 and allow time for people to check in and air down, etc. Let us know what you prefer. We are happy to meet everyone at the 83/439 park n ride if folks want to caravan up. Just let us know! | |

| Yep, I’m still alive out here – got a lot of blue icons to look through! Was wondering if someone could describe the trip a little . . . an RC guided tour? Guess I didn’t know they did that, but, is this basically going to be a “leaf peeking” trip, or is there going to be some wheeling? If I read correctly, it sounds like “some” blues may be OK? I’d love to get together again, but need to stretch the legs a little too, if you get my drift I plan on going, and am bringing a young friend as co-pilot – wanted to put some fear into him a bit, and then let him drive some, too I’ll also mention this to a friend at work – I’ll let you know if he’s coming, so you can keep count. | |

| I'm getting ready to send Mary a message. So far I have 10 vehicles planning on making the trip (Mary needs an approximate count), belong to: Green Bay TJ, T-Case, Orange Crush, Mudslinger, ih8pepl73, Slimer, BlackMajicKJ, Forrest, JeepGurl, NotLost. I'm not sending a list to Mary, just want to make sure I have not left anyone's vehicle out of the count. Understand we will also have passengers not included in the list of vehicles. Mudslinger is planning on heading out Sat Nov 17 around 0600 from the park n ride near the PA border and I-83. So we should be up to RC around 0830.
Based on discussions, I'll ask for green trails with possible blue obstacles that have green bypasses. Plan is for this to be a scenic off-road leaf tour. My understanding is that we will be taking one of the trails that is open only to guided tours. This ride is separate from the Adventure Rides set up by Rock Crawl Enterprises, but is something that Mary is getting set up for us. Usual rates apply for park membership and daily access. I've covered the guide fee, if anyone would like you can bring up a bag of food for the grocery getter runs that are being planned at RC in December.

| Odds are looking good that I’ll be bringing along a first timer with a JK. Wife and kids along for the ride!!
...don’t suppose any of those greens have some blue/black bypasses?? ;-)

There are some rock gardens alongside some of the green and blue trails...typically one color up from the trail or so....but only for 25 - 150 yards or so at a time typically. Of course, you can shade the trail rating darker by just picking bad lines. The best ("Harder by-pass") is the black along the green? trail that goes by Pizza Rock. I never remember the official trail numbers/names...but, I think its a green trail to get to Pizza Rock, and Pizza Rock itself is I think Blue, but you can go around it...and then its green back up to the power line trail areas...but with a long black section parallel to it (To the left if going uphill...). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnCAjTOByG4&list=UUizKO0d1jk-9K0fjm2hMHyw&index=8&feature=plcphttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjUobrS2ujM&list=UUizKO0d1jk-9K0fjm2hMHyw&index=15Pizza Rock

| Here's part of the reply I got from Mary (the rest of it had to do with answering a question regarding my membership, since I now have a different Jeep - membership is tied to me, not my Jeep):
"You are correct about the scenic overlook, only park staff guided rides are allowed to access this property. The other things you will get to see include some of the coal mines. The blue trails with bypasses is no problem."
Mary is aware that we need to have green bypasses on all the trails.
Also, since there are folks coming who are new to RC or will be coming as passengers, please be aware of the fee structure (I think the following prices are correct): Anyone who is not a member at RC will need to become one, $15/year; I believe daily access is $35 - covers vehicle plus driver; daily passenger fee is $7 (I think this is waived for the day someone becomes a member); and I believe no fees for anyone under 16. Also, may be a good idea for anyone needing to fill out membership applications to go to RC4x4.org and get the forms and fill out in advance, and bring with - will save a little time on the 17th. As I recall, both parents need to initial the waiver for anyone under 16.

| Well, as many of you know, my wife (Denise) has several severe back issues. Authritis in 3 places, deteriorating discs, fusing discs as well as neck problems. Anyway, she is starting to have lots of pain - I'm thinking due to the cold weather - and she fears that she will aggrivate her issues more if she goes wheeling with us on the 17th. So, as of right now, it will only be me and my 12 yr old son David. Please pray for her back and for the outcome of her Disability Hearing on the 28th. We are hoping that she gets approved this time. She's been denied twice and had to finally get a lawyer. I really want her to go with us but I understand since I have back issues myself, though not as severe. | |

| Sorry to hear about the Jeep You are always welcome to come out camping with us and ride along at any of our events. We always need volunteers to help at community outreach events - so you still have plenty of ways to participate if you want!! Please keep us posted on how things are going. | |
