Just curious about what you carry offroad for spill kits. I don't carry one, think this is something I should have on hand.

I don't carry one. But when I worked at as gas station, and when I did corner-working for SCCA, we used Speedy-dry.

A cheaper alternativie is to use cat litter.

A funnel, empty jugs and buckets, a shovel, oil absorbing rags or towels, kitty litter and or spill pigs, garbage bags, etc.

When jeeping, the diff covers used to get peeled off or punctured, so gear oil was frequently spilled for example. If you have a funnel, you can route it to a jug. A rolled up newspaper or map, etc...can be fashioned into a funnel in a pinch as well.
