| I'm with you, Tim......I've been complaining about the front end change since the first sneak peek of the '09. I do not like it AT ALL!! The Mickey Mouse lights on top are silly too....although built-in lights in that air dam is a good idea. They could have done different ones. |

| The grill line is going to play havoc with after market winch bumper designs....the center grill drops down very low compared to the overall fender line. Its good to see the X gettin' some respect though. The last decent looking X was made in 2001 though. _________________ - TJ

SQUARE headlights?
Maybe...but I have always been partial to 2004. I love my '05 though. |

Why would that play havoc with aftermarket bumpers? The 05 Dodge Ram grills drop below the fender line and there are plenty of aftermarket bumpers for them. _________________ Our Father, Who art in Rausch, Four wheeling be thy name, To thy trails we come, Thy maintenance be done, In the Garage as it is on the trails. | Well, Jimmy, I know you're not Nissan savvy...so I'll post up pics of the aftermarket bumpers and my grille vs the 09's.......I just cannot right now, as I'm at work~! |

| I'm just pointing out that the aftermarket will adapt to the vehicle. So ya can't put a current production bumper on an 09 X. You'll just have to wait until the aftermarket starts producing bumpers for it. Or fabricate your own. _________________ Our Father, Who art in Rausch, Four wheeling be thy name, To thy trails we come, Thy maintenance be done, In the Garage as it is on the trails. | Although I have not seen the '09 in person, judging by the picture I think a big problem is with what is behind the cosmetic bumper. Nissan seems to be lowering the radiators on the Xterras over the different generations. The problem that I expect is not so much with the bumper itself, but with the radiator. The radiator is probably sufficiently low that, although you could design a bumper around it, the radiator will still interfere with winch mounting and clearance. k_enn |

| Thats just one minor detail any good fabricator takes into consideration when designing and building any bumper. If you want it bad enough, you'll find a way around it. _________________ Our Father, Who art in Rausch, Four wheeling be thy name, To thy trails we come, Thy maintenance be done, In the Garage as it is on the trails.
