Just finished up on the bronco and was looking for places to wheel, and came across this great web site.

Very Happy WOW, nice bronc! Welcome to the site. Tell us some more about yourself. We mainly wheel at Rausch Creek Off Road Park. There is a run there on the 21st.

My wife and I are members of St Rose of Lima in Eddystone PA. I've been working on the bronco for the past 17 months and was trying to find a place to legally wheel. I thought the best way was through a local club. This one is literally at the top of the list!
It would be great to go to Rausch on the 21st. I was looking through the list of things to have, and the one thing I'm missing is a cb radio. Where is the best place to get one?

Holy WOW Batman! That thing looks great. I'll bet Tom will be happy to have anothe Bronco owner around

To answer your question I have tried the cheap ones from (name store here) with no luck. Some others have had great luck with them. I have the Radio Shack one with the SWR built in and have had no issues with it. Don't let missing a CB stop you from joining us on the 21st though.

What are some of the specs on that beast?

Yes. We'll definitely be there the 21st. Not sure about the 22nd. I was just checking Rausch's website for directions.

Are you near I-83? We come straight up it past York. You can hop on and follow us.

I'll add you.

welcome aboard! that's a really nice looking bronco you got there. about your cb question, if you're close to any truck stops, you'll have a decent selection there. i own a cobra 29 ltd and love it. i also own a uniden, which is a bit smaller than the cobra, it's also a decent radio.

WOW!!!!! My old man has a bronco. I am going to send him pictures. I hope he wants to do the same thing. I will be at RC with y'all. I am going to follow the bronco!!!!

I have a cobra something or other. I love it. It is either a 19 or 29. It is small and works well.

X,

Thanks for the offer, but Tim's right. I live near the intersection of I-95 and 476. I was looking at the map to see how feasible it would be to stop off at the Shady Maple for breakfast, and then heading to Rausch from there.

I'd prefer to stay off the toll roads with people going 75, and I'm only going 55 in the gas guzzler.

Junkyard, Chariot, yrflu, Tim and Mudslinger, Thanks.

Nice rig! You could use an old Fiero as a ramp for changing the oil, huh? (not that you need a ramp anyway!)

I read some time ago about trails north of the Philli airport – they “implied” that they were legal… I don’t know what airport. I don’t see much from sat photos at the International by your place, except fuel storage tanks!

(Just noticed most of us are “middle aged”. Wonder if that means anything? Whatever it is, it’s a good thing!)

pd,

It's funny you mentioned the Philly airport. That's the first place we went. It was all atv's and motorcycles.
