Safe Travel

I am taking Mrs. AutoDoc on the trip of her life for her 50th birthday. We're flying to Denver this Saturday and then taking a rental Jeep (well, a Liberty) on every back road I can find from there to Las Vegas by way of the Grand Canyon, and then flying home from there on the 27th. Please pray for our safe passage and no altitude sickness as we'll be going from sea level to over 12,000 feet all in one day (barf). I've been to Colorado twice, but Mrs. AutoDoc ain't ever seen "real" mountains and I want to make sure that happens before we become grandparents (which will be between 3/23 and 4/7/2009 according to my baby daughter). The same day my daughter told us of she and her husband's new arrival I started planning this trip because I figure it'll be the last one. BTW I managed to get a cellphone modem from the IT department at work, so I will still be doing the daily trivia contest as long as I can get a signal, so those who are now ahead of me this month (and you know who you are) can't just relax because I'll still be breathing down your necks!
