Club Meet and Greet

What do you guys think about a "meet and greet" at Chick Fil A or Sonic in Abingdon/ Bel Air. We have quite a few new members and it would be great just to hang out for a little while one night and make some plans for upcoming events. Alot of you have some really good ideas for outreach,etc., that I would like to talk about with the group.

I was thinking maybe a Friday or Saturday night in the near future. If you are interested, please give me a couple of dates so I can plan!! My vote would be for Chick Fil A, but let me know your thoughts!

I'll be up m the air until we get Billy's football scheduel worked out. Its been a hectic week with my wife on travel and my son starting 2-hours practices every night this week. BUt I would like to attend.

I can probably do this on a Friday night in August. I'm assuming my son will make the White team with the Bel Air Terps. Starting next week my wife can do football duty, then in September I have it all month as she puts in her typical 100 hours overtime September each year. Looks like Saturdays will be for scrimmages/games where ever (first one is Elkridge on Aug 11th, time TBD).

If we could do Friday night 10 Aug then BlackMagic KJ might be able to attend. But I should be able to make any Friday evening this month except for tomorrow night.

And my vote would be for CFA. Maybe if we let them know we are a Christian offroad club we could even get a table set aside for us if we asked.

me like chicken, just keep in mind that friday night is also the lowes cruise and the chic fil A can be quite busy. maybe sat night. only a suggestion

I could do this saturday night (aug 4) but not next saturday (aug 11, we are out of town next weekend)

I might be OK with a Sat night depending on football schedule. But would rather do sooner rather than later. Don't hold up any plans on my account - if I can make it, I will.

Edit: I can probably do evening of Aug 4. Team assignments/afternoon practice is 2 PM (probably until 4 PM), and my wife will be back from travel. Family event, right?

They opened up a new CHICK-FIL-A in Forrest Hill @ the Kohl's and across from the Forest Hill Lanes bowling place.

They just opened up a couple weeks ago and have a TON of room in the lot. There's not much room/ease of access at the one in Abingdon. I'd try the new one!

Good grief the two in AZ know our area better then us. If you all pick this Saturday I will not be able to make it. We are going on a short vacation. The 11th will work out if that is one of the dates everybody agrees to.

I usually have band practice on Friday nights and Sundays (after church - of course.) But I can do the 10th at Forest Hill. I pass there every night on the way home. And you're all gonna love the life-size cow bush out front! LOL

Count me (and my family) in. I will just tell the band that I can't make it - no big deal. Our next show isn't until September anyway.

I should be able to make next Friday night. Will probably just be me - I think my son has football practice and I'll ask my wife to take him.

Are you talking about A/O hood stickers or windshield stickers? If hood stickers, I'm thinking white would show up better against my jeep's forest green paint. If windshield sticker, black should be fine.

sorry folks, i won't be there for this probably as i do believe i am leaving for North Carolina the morning of the 10th, guess i'll have to meet all the new members another time. Have fun!!!

We won't make it. One vacation Bible school ends just before the next one begins. Time to do house chores that were neglected.

I just want to thank everyone for coming out tonight for the club meet and greet! Dennis and I are so happy for the support you guys continue to show us and the club- we could not do any of this without you guys!

Rob, we really enjoyed meeting you and your family. We hope you found a "club home" here and feel welcome.

Denise, David and I had a great time last night meeting some of you. It was fun to hear some great stories and to hear about the club's "mission". I Cannot wait to go on a trail ride with you all to Rausch or where ever. I don't remember some names but that will come with time.

Hey, sorry I missed you all at the club meet. The kids and I had an opportunity to go to Hershey Park and I could not pass it up. The weather at first didn't look that great but it cleared up when we got there.

You are all most welcome for the "Jesus Rocks" stickers. But some of the credit needs to go to Pete - I saw the sticker on his jeep at our last run at RC. If anyone else wants "Jesus Rocks" stickers, I gave these to Sam and Dennis to use in a similar manner as the bracelets. These are all 3", mostly in silver or white, I think about 15 are left.
