New forum member, long time jeeper. (Abingdon, MD)

Hey Gang,

I was referred to this group by WranglerAngel05 (Angel) and figured I would stop by and drop a line.

I have seen the Alpha Omega name around before, and I'm pretty sure the group of fellow wheelers who helped me push my Jeep up on the trailer at Rausch were from here. A broken drag link ends a day pretty quickly

Anyway, I'm glad to see a group of people who never forget the true reason why we are able to enjoy this great hobby. God!

Not sure if any of you have heard of the Knights of Columbus. It's the worlds largest Roman Catholic service organization. I have been a member of 5 years, and it's amazing how many good friendships you build while helping others in need.

While browsing around, I see that Mudslinger is from my neck of the woods! I'm sure I have seen you around bud! I live right off of Rt.7 in Philadelphia Station.

I'm looking forward to meeting you guys!

Hi and Welcome to the club! Glad to see another neigbor from Abingdon. I am pretty sure I have seen your Jeep around. We have a couple other folks from Abingdon too.

Welcome from the West side... of the country.

Glad to have you join. A friend of mine that is a fellow wheeler is part of the KOC. Tom Rowan he lives by fallston high school.

We try to do alot in the community to help others, it was the reason that my wife and I started the club. Wheeling and God are the things that bring us together but we strive to be a part of the community and share Gods love with others.

Hope you can make it to the meeting, Pattey and I will be there via Skype.

Does anyone remember a club HCOR? It first stood for Harford County Off Road, then it was changed to High Centered Off Road. We had a great group of guys, but the "owner" decided he wanted to get out of the Jeep scene and decided to shut it down.

Hey Mudslinger, do you attend Mountain Christian? If so, then that's where I have seen your rig before!

Were they in the northern part of the county? I had one of the shirts they made, got if from PA Jeeps show if I am thinking about the same club, only met them once.

Yep- as Jeeper X said my wife and I go to Mountain. In fact we hold a small group bible study at our house in Abingdon the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. The next one is this Wed at 7:30 at my house. Let me know if you are interested. I am going to PM you the address for the club meeting on February 4th. Looking forward to meeting you!

Yes, they were based out of Cecil County. I know I have the logo saved on one of my backups of the old forum. I'll post it up when I find it.

WOW! You live close to Sam/Dennis (mudslinger) and Mike/Tina...AND go to Mountain!!!! Up until we moved to
Arizona (just left on 9/20) we were going there too. As a matter of fact, it's where we met Samantha and Dennis
before we became best pals!!! It was the Father's Day Car Show and we were barely a club yet...and if it wasn't
for Sam/Dennis, this club would not be where it is!!! (of course it takes a village and I appreciate everyone else's
time and commitment...I am speaking of the times that Chris and I wanted to give up and just close it down and
they were our biggest support when we were down)

Anyway....rambling. Hope you get to join everyone at the meeting. They've always been a blast! Besides, that's
where you'll find our most active gang...so knowing the faces you meet there are the ones you'll see on the trails
is a good thing.

We'll be there through SKYPE and can't wait to see everyone!!! If you have any questions, input or ideas...feel free
to write them down and bring them!!! Hope you can make it!!!
