Kenny B here and I live in Baytown,Tx. I think God has put an idea in my head to start an offroad ministry. I have no clue what to do or where to start. I am a Christian and attend Old River Baptist Church. I jumped on the computer and looked up Offroad ministries. I found your site and looked at all your events and meetups. I like the types of things you are doing through out your community. These are ideas I will try out in our meet up group. I'm in a regular jeep club (Houston Jeep People - approx 600 strong). Also in a small Christian club about 15 strong (Txcore4x4). Our group is dead with no activity. I see what your doing over there and plan on trying that out over here. Thank you for having this great group. Jesus Rocks and so do you.............

Awesome Kenny, We had no idea what we were doing when we started either... Just trust what God is putting on your heart and that He is in control. Feel free to copy anything we have going on. Pattey can fill you in on some forum starting tools. Ours is free we only pay for the main page domain name. I know alot of other clubs that are paying big $$ to host their site.

Check out UCORA (United Christian OffRoad Alliance) when you get a chance if you have not already, Crawl for Christ this year is in MOAB!!! You may be able to find others to help you there too.

Feel free to contact us anytime for support, idea bouncing, anything we can do to help.

Chris

Thank you for the warm welcome. Not just to the site but to your help in my new journey. UCORA, yes I have seen them and will ask for help. I'm sure I will need it. We are always going to an event but we never really use them to help out in the community. We do support WFTW - Wheelers For The wounded. Thats the wounded soldiers back at home and a few other things. I thinking about helping the area food bank and of coarse its Christmas so there are lots that need. This idea seems to grow big fast. Will be calling on my friends, old and new for help.

Hey man, glad you found us.
Praying for your efforts – if God’s in it, he will bless and be blessed! cross

Evangelism can be tough to initiate sometimes w/o some type of “open door” of conversation. Big tires can be that open door. I hopped out of the car in line at McDonald’s the other day to give the Jeep behind me a club business card… on the back is the Roman’s Road (or “trail”, in this case Cool )

Looking forward to hear how it’s going – keep us posted! thumbs up
