Don't feel bad I'm still only on 31's, but, hope to bump up to 33's before June. That is of course if I don't buy another Cherokee I have my eye on. Twisted Evil

Everyone going up to RC on the 26th from the Forest Hill area can meet us
@ 5:30am at the GIANT parking lot on Route 24 in Forest Hill.
It's right off of the bypass....near the old C-mart and Spenciola Antiques. (google it)

Be there ON TIME. sunny

And based on who will be going, I think the group will need to be split up at some point. I don't mind running easier trails, but I'm going to want to do some gnarly stuff at some point during the day, as I'm sure Steve will too? Trail "0" is a good one as the entire group can go down the Blue section, and we can play in the Black/Red section.

1: I dunno who I'm riding with. geek

1.5: Ummm, wear a hat if it's raining, you're not gonna melt.

2: The whole group can decide what it's doing. But, yes, the modified guys are gonna want to do some big stuff. There's only one rig that is smaller than 35's. Everyone may want to stay together and watch the bigger ones, who knows....I'm not making the decision, it'll be everyone who's got rigs that can figure out a plan. I have no problem with splitting after lunch. Up to everyone that shows.

Pattey,

1: I only ask because I can't take more than one adult (and 1 child) in my rig now...

1.5: Ummm, wearing a hat won't keep the rain from filling up the inside of my truck. I have no doors, and now NO roof. So wheeling in a constant rain won't work for me...smarty pants.

2: Agreed, I was only asking because I don't want someone doing something they aren't comfortable with. I don't mind what trails I do, I just want to make sure the group is good with what we run. That's all. You didn't need to insult the guys with the "little" tires...that was just wrong!
lol!

Later yo.

i already got a clearance issue.. maybe if i did a solid axle swap i could... but nah i am actually very pleased with what i have!!!! i dont need a huge rediculous rig (like mudslinger geek ) to be happy!

see you on the trail!! and Pattey i may actually stop by ur yardsale cause i cannot work tomorrow due to the fields being underwater (but the upside is that flooded fields at work = possible awesome mudding if my friends are around!!) so if im not buried to my door handles tomorrow i shall drop by.

Saturday at 8ish
Unless something unknown occurs, Paula and I plan on being there with my TJ. We typically like Blues, & any Blacks that can be done with 33s.

Sunday at 9ish
We actually plan on doing Sunday too, but with Paula’s XJ. We wanted to do its maiden voyage with Mt. Zion, cause that’s where we bought it – that way if anything happens…

It there’s not enough from A/O to have their own run, MZ won’t turn anybody away. Darrel came along with his Bronco – we had a lot of fun!

As far as trails, they usually mix it up.

This is my first run at rausch, but i am more than willing to do all blue with guidance if i need it, and im willing to try any black a 32" tire can handle as long as someone doesnt mind spotting and will offer encouragement/praise comfort because i will be testing my nerves! pale

I usually run greens and blues with the occaional black thrown in for fun, but, blues and blacks would be fine with a good spotter Very Happy - Harry <><

Going on saturday:

NotLost - blues and easy blacks
BlackMagic - blues (you'll be fine...and Greg is the best spotter known to man)
Wiretie - blues (see above!) hahaha

Last year was a much needed vacation from Rausch, so I haven't seen the trails in over a year...hopefully they've remained similar to what they were. I do remember that one stretch of green was definitely a blue due to erosion. There's usually bypasses for any given obstacle and worst case scenario, you can turn around if it's something that looks too knarly.

I'll keep adding to this list and reposting it as people come in and say that they're coming and what trails they're looking for. And, yes, we know you new guys don't know what trails are what, but we will do everything we can to make sure you're doing what you should without being too much.

Awe shucks... Very Happy Thanks Pattey. But seriously, I will spot anyone that needs it, and won't take anyone somewhere THEY don't feel comfortable going. I've taken a Sammy on 33's through Rock Creek, so the rigs in this run should be fine on most of the Blues (and Blacks) with spotting and/or tugging/winching. It's all good.

NotLost wrote:

I can't speak for Steve, but I am in the 100% category provided it's not going to be 30+% chance of rain, if it is, then I'm out. (No comments from Pattey...no roof + no doors = wet all day, so no fun for me, sorry.) So pray for good weather!
