April 17 and 18

Are we still on for wheeling at Rausch for that weekend? I just got my hubs swapped out and am ready to hit the trails again.


Also, who is planning on making two days or wheeling? I could be up for that, if we have enough people for both days.

I was thinking that this run would be a possibility for me bringing some of my Youth up there. I don't know if that works for you guys. It would be cool to split the kids up and have them ride along with different drivers if possible. Three of the kids I took to the concert showed an interest in going so I thought I should jump on the opportunity when I had the chance (I need to install my rear brake lines and new shims before I run (so this is definitely pending that happening). This will most likely not be a major event but I would like to get any waivers or whatever I need from the club ahead of time.

This is the weekend of the April run.
Hopefully as we get closer, more people will say they're going....and also help out letting a kid ride with them.

Tim, I can send you the liability forms that I will have the parents sign. I'll even try to make it a PDF or something.

That would be excellent, if not you can mail it to me and I will can it at work and send you the PDF back so you have it if you want. I am all for making stuff into electronic copies and will do some of the work myself if I have to!

can you maybe just put the waivers some where on the forum so we can just print them off when needed. im going to take people up again sometime and i would like to have them for the parents.

Well as usual my life sucks and I won't be able to wheel or bring kids up to wheel. I started traveling a bit for work here recently and I haven't been around enough to get anything done on my house let alone my Xterra. I'll make a run eventually but until then I'll just be that guy that wants to come really bad but can't.

been working hard driving around 2 k miles a week sucks but need to catch up things again.

I would love to go but truck is down for awhile still and needs works and hope a few months i will be able to take a ride with you all i had a great run that day i went.

I am so looking forward to this trip (last time out was Oct or Nov). But now it is in jeopardy for me. I sprained my ankle a couple of days ago, and the recovery is not going very well. Unless there is a big improvement in the week and a half, I will have to bail out. Say a prayer for me.

I am also writing because;

ONE: Chris and I will be wheeling on SATURDAY only, as he works on sunday. SUNDAY people...have fun and be safe. Remember to have someone sign your group out at the end of the day.

TWO: I wanted to let people know that we will be exploring the new NE side of the park. There is a PARK REQUIRED additional $10 per driver fee to run the trails over there. We plan to start out in that area (meeting in the staging area/parking lot first) and run it until either lunch time, or until we have done it all. There are over 14 miles of green trails over there and two large areas that have been timbered for exploring. Here is a map:




In the afternoon, we hope to be in the regular park and doing some harder stuff.

Please post up if you are going.

Sounds like a plan Pattey! I will hopefully be going IF my 4Runner is done in time...not sure yet though. Will keep you posted. If not, then I will go with Steve on the 24th.

All good just let me know then I got time was trying to get it running to do greens and blues on steves run but maybe I'll just keep the stock stuff on till then

The jeep is still in transition so we will not have it back. If anyone has an extra couple of seats we may ride along. Greg, the truck looks great!
