My nephew Adam just left in a ambulance from the beach with a wake boarding injury. We are hoping for a sprain but leg break is more likely.

Ouch, that sounds like it hurts. It is bad enough with a broken leg on land, but to be pulled up into a boat with a wake board bolted to you legs....


How old is he? My wife and I will pray for him. Best of luck.

Ok wake board was the wrong term. It was a skim board at the ocean. Should be a fun 8-9 hour ride back to maryland. He is a trooper though and a tough kid.

Sorry to hear about Adam, but glad he is going to be OK. Have a safe trip home.

Back to back summers I fractured an elbow and tore my meniscus at the skate park on 2nd st. Both summers I had to drive me home. With no pain meds. Not fun. I finally gave my skates.


I tried my skim board for the first time last week or the week before. After the second attempt I went and found some random kid and said "here, want a skim board?" Then walked away.


Our prayers are with him.
