Those of you who have been around awhile may know that Patteys Mom has suffered from back issues for a long time. Well now she is in the hospital for Pancreatitis. Which is inflammation or infection of the pancreas. She says it is a very painful thing. She is waiting to hear from her Dad about whether or not her mom will have surgery.

Please pray for Pattey and her Mom and Dad and the rest of the family.

Talked to Pattey and she said that they are waiting for the swelling to go down and then they will most likely remove her gall bladder.

Mum's still in the hospital......pain was excrutiating saturday night at 2am, when she went in. Today it was less severe with hard-hitting spasms. Hopefully, the swelling goes down and they can operate wednesday or thursday. I really want to go home and see her, but she's being well taken care of, and dad has everything under control as usual! PLease pray for my mom's comfort, but also pray for my dad....who is there everyday for her and worships the ground she walks on. He hates seeing her like this. And with all of the other problems, it seems he never gets a break from worrying and fussing over her.

my mom is still at the hospital, but going to have her surgery today (thursday) afternoon. please pray that everyone in the room is focused on her and that God guides the surgeons hands. pray for a speedy recovery and no more of this pain.

Surgery did not go well. Her enzymes were better, so they thought it would be okay to operate. But her pancreas was the size of her liver and visualization was poor, so they had to open her up. She had a "cardiac episode" during the surgery and was put in ICU. Her heart rate remained at 190 til earlier this morning when she finally converted back to a normal rhythm. PLEASE pray for a better recovery....that her incision heals well and she feels better. That her heart is strong and stays that way. Thanks guys!

I am sad to hear about the episode, and I hope she recovers well from it. When they were in, did they get "out" all that they needed to get?

Prayer said that they got it all, and for a speedy and complete recovery.

Mom's doing better. IVs were out as of yesterday, and she's taking in liquids by mouth for the first time in a week. They're watching her heart closely and we're praying for her to come home soon. Thank you for your prayers and support
