Yeah-trying to think positive though. I am electrician (commercial/ industrial) and live in Harford County.

Thanks -I have not thought about that. It is certainly worth a try. I'll look them up on line and see what I can find out.

IBEW guys are doing plenty of construction electrical work at APG, and should continue for a while. As far as maintenance electrician, there was someone in Aberdeen looking for a troubleshooter type, but I just checked and it's not there anymore. I have a search at Monster (I'm a PLC, HMI, controls automation type) for PLC, HMI, etc and I see a couple new things there just about every day. Keep your chin up. I'll always remember what my father told me from his VA hospital bed a few months before he died. I had just been laid off from a 21 year job. He said, "You'll be OK boy. You fix things." I was out for two months then in 1996, but since then I've been blessed with steady work. If you're an industrial electrician, you fix things, too so hang in there.

Thanks for the info and the positive words-sometimes you need to hear that. I am remaining positive and prayerful knowing that it will all work out.

I can (and have) told many stories about how God has taken care of me just when I needed it. God is seldom early, never late, but always on time. The hardest thing for me to learn was that it is Gods time and not mine.
