I praise you God for the opportunity you have given me at Sears, but I also pray for the strength to help turn it around. I have been putting in some long hours, please give me the strength and courage to do what needs to be done and not let my attitude match thiers but be a shining light. I can do ALL things through YOU who saved me.

Amen

As I texted you this morning.....

Keep up the work...the numbers are showing your precence already. She can not deny you have made a improvement in the team already.

The associates who seem to not appreciate your work will always stand behind you in the long run. All of them do not show up day in and day out and not want to do the right thing. The ones that are negative always stand out in the beginning but are the first to be taken out by the new kid on the block there to do the right thing..

I have done 12 stores in 23 years and thought I was making alot of enemies in the beginning but find in every store that the good ones will follow the manager who does the right thing no matter what the majority tries..

Its hard sometimes to keep the faith but in the long run its well worth it emotionally... let alone the money you make fixing someone elses mistakes..

The new bonus plan is based on improvement over last year with a qualifier for certain areas.. We will speak about that later..but if you can continue you will show you are there for a reason and they will call on you for future tasks.....

Problem solvers make the most $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Ask me how I know this........ lol!

Thanks Matt
I just hope the right people see it. I have had many times in the past that the credit goes the wrong way... not that I want credit, just to be seen as a hard working, dedicated, problem solver, that I am.

Keep in mind that earthly credit counts far less than personal credit and God's credit. For example, I once had a co-worker take credit for a winning concept that I came up with. In the short run, he got some benefit from doing so, but in the long run God repaid him. Within a year he was terminated from the firm, and within another few years he was forced to resign from the bar. My own personal satisfaction with knowing that I came up the winning concept was enough, and I am sure that God knows who did what even if the managing partner did know at that time.

If you want to soar with the eagles, don't let the turkeys bog you down.
