For those living in the Richmond area, particularly North side, Mechanicsville, and Hanover, we are starting a new Christian 4X4/Off-road ministry. This will be a non-denominational group with the purposes of Faith, Family, Fellowship, and Four-wheeling.
There will be an organizational meeting for any and all interested on Tuesday, February 3, 2009. The meeting will be held at 7:00 pm at Mechanicsville Christian Center. The church is located at 8061 Shady Grove Road, Mechanicsville, VA, 23111. For directions or more information you may call the church at 804-746-4303 or Keith Venner at 804-559-1428 (home) or 757-754-9478 (cell).

So we had our first meeting tonight. We had four people show up. we'll be calling ouselves The Narrow Trail Offroaders. Our fist outing will be the UFWDA wheel-in.
Now I get to start working on some sort of web presence.

You can go to GODADDY.COM and for $10 a year get a domain name and start a website.

Then go to FORUMOTION.COM and get a free forum......if you need help, let me know.

looked at Forumotion.com. it looks like they host the forum and a domain name is unnecessary. Is that the case, or do I still need to register a domain? And does the forum come with an email auto responder?

Yah, you can just have the forum......

The domain is if you wanted a home page like ours http://www.alphaomegaoffroad.com

And yes, the forum is self contained and has a email registration.

Got the forum started. I still gotta figure out how it all works. Here's how it looks for now:http://narrowtrailoffroad.forumotion.com/index.htm. not sure if its what I want. i like the colors and my banner, but the layout... i dunno.

Let me know what you think.
