My name is Adam Britton from Abingdon/Chruchville. I drive a yellow 06 Unlimited. I am a welder and am in the process of starting my own 4x4 shop in the Bel Air area, quite the uphill battle right now. A tremendous amount of stuff has happened to me since my daughter was born in 2007. In time I'll be able to hopefully share it with you all.

Welcome Adam, I'm in Belcamp myself and also have an Unlimited. These people around here are great folks so please join in. There's a couple other Harford County types around, too. Tell us a little about your 4X4 startup business.

Well, i plan on starting out with basic bolt-on kits. My friend Clayton owns a machine shop in Calgary and can provide me with unbelievable parts like heim joints and such. He co-won TTC last year with his Warthog. I am a very competent welder and plan on building a custom long arm on my Unlimited soon...my heim joints just got made for the rear! Unfortunately, life complications have thwarted my forward progress so for now I am working on APG doing construction.

Welcome to the site. Your not here by accident. Might need some joints in the future for my toy.

Welcome to the site. I am on the BelAir/Forest Hill line. A new shop in the Bel Air area would be a great thing.
We also have a bible study that meets at my house once a month if you are interested in joining us for that. We are not meeting this month due to a death in my family but will be meeting again in June.

How did you find us? Not that we were hiding just always interested to know.

yeah Hey Adam!!! Glad you're here! We're psyched about a possible new 4x4 store!!! We have a section somewhere in here for aftermarket stores. One of our other members does some stuff that is sold thru Quadratec. Feel free to post up in there or even send me or Chris the information and we can post it.

Hope to see you soon!!!

I heard about you guys through the Rock Raiders site...I was one of the first few members of the MRR back in early 04 or so, but I quit cause I didn't like the way the club was running. I just started back on their forum a few days ago. I'll post up in the aftermarket section with some pics of the kind of work I plan on doing and some products I can get.

Ahhhh....I see. Yah, the old MRR seemed a bit.......well, you know.
The new MRR is trying to be the opposite. Good guys. We love them.

We have a joint run with them on September 20th at Rock Run near Altoona, PA.
But hopefully we hook up more times before then. We had a really good time with some of the guys this past winter.

welcome to the site adam. i might be sending some business your way, maybe. my son in law is in the process of getting a lift for his cherokee and will need it installed (i don't have the equipment for dealing with all that old stubborn hardware). i suggested that he use the money on some skid plating first, but you know how these 20 somethings can be sometimes. i'm just shopping some ball park figures right now.

Hey Adam! Welcome. I live in Abingdon too and drive an 06 unlimited. Really excited to hear about your offroad shop! Look forward to meeting you and your daughter at the Pine Barrens run. My wife and I will also be attending-it sounds like a blast!
