Im a new member to the club, i just joined today at church well i signed up i should say, my name is Jimmy im 17 years old and i drive a 79 gmc witha 4inch lift and 33 inch swamper trXus Mt's. Me and my dad rebuilt the truck but now my family is in Virgina and im here stayin with friends. I dont know how much i would be willing to do even though id love to eventually convert my truck completey into a mud truck or rock crawler, but i figured itd be cool to get to know people who have the same interests as me,

Yah, you guys should have seen the picture he showed me of it!!!! Made me drool. But I have always been a fan of the older trucks, especially the Chevy/GMCs.

Welcome to the club, Jimmy...it's Pattey, the one you met along with Sam and Dennis and 'mom'. hehehe We have BIG plans for the OFFROADING 101 thing we mentioned on sunday...hope you can make it to that. I will be posting up soon about it in another thread so everyone can see what we're up to.

welcome jimmy, my names brian. sounds like you got a nice truck, i'm a fan of the older chevy's too. i used to have a '79 'burban with a 350, man that thing was fun to wrench on.

my name is steve youll see me every know and then prolly not much until it gets warm. im a wimp for the snow. but love the chevy line my self. wont own anything but a chevy truck and jeeps. well maybe a dodge cummins for the right price.

Hey, welcome. I am always happy to see someone wheeling a rig older than they are... I came close once. I was only 3 years older than the jeep's body, but the drive train was older than me.

Thanks again to everyone and i look forward to meetin yall and puttin some faces with the names, and pattey dont go braggin about my truck to much, i love it but everyone else might not=P. And in reply to one statement yea its awesome to have a truck older than me i love it, i Love older cars i want to build a drag car but dont have the resources, or the money=) Ill get pictures up soon so everyone can see it. I look forward to goin out with everyone, oh and ill be drivin it to church on sunday at the 9:45 service=) so hopefully ill see some of yall there.
