PostSubject: another new guy!?   Wed Nov 04, 2009 2:00 pm

Back-tracked to this site via You-Tube, of all things! 46 year old with the best wife and 2 daughters I know (no I’m not PC, but fun to joke). Relatively green to the wheelin’ scene – 1st jeep was a 91 Sahara, but when it rotted out I traded it for a SAAB. Now I have an 01 Sport with a few toys, but certainly not loaded (though it is locked ). If you’re interested in the rig, or some of the trips I’ve been on, I have a YouTube channel at “pdlong123456789” (not one for creative user names). I got “saved” at 30 through a Nazarene church in NY, now go to Hanover Community Church in Hanover, PA. Looking forward to meeting new people (Christian 4x4 club – how cool!), and new trails.

Thanks for the welcome.
I have some road-trip vids here:

...and there are some photo in here - it's the dark blue sport with red diff cover and the eagle decals on the side:

I bought the rig from Mt. Zion. It's a Christian owned dealership. They lead some monthly trips to RC. I'm assuming there are some here that are familiar with them?

Yeah Mike and Jim at Mt Zion are great. I have been on one of their rides and had fun.

We are heading to the park on the 21st of Nov if you can join us.

I am also in Harford County. Only about a hour from Hanover

Hello and welcome. I live just down route 30 a piece in Reisterstown, Md. Mt. Zion Off Road is cool. I was along for that ride with Chris. We have a monthly ride to various places but mostly to Rausch Creek Off Road Park. Next one is on the 21st of November.

Hello there! I spoke with you thru email earlier. I'm glad you made it in to say hello.
Of course, it's always fun to meet a new wheeler....even better to know you're saved!!!

Hope you can make it to the upcoming trail ride. Like I said in my email, I work at Hanover Hospital in Hanover (wow, that's redundant........wow, that's redundant) But on December 14th start at Upper Chesapeake Hospital.

Have you always lived in this area? Can't wait to meet you and your family!

big grin

I ran my Xterra stock with a locker my first time out and it did pretty well. Welcome aboard.

Edit:
I didn't look at your pics till after I posted. Obviously you know your jeep does pretty well off-road.
