| Hey all....our April Club run is going to be a one day run on the 11th....the day before Easter. I know most of us have plans with our families for Easter, but sure hope you'll join us for our run on saturday!!! We'll have an Easter Egg hunt in the morning and hopefully a good turn-out for dinner that night after the run at the Gooseberry, as we celebrate the Rising of Our Lord and Saviour by breaking bread together. We'll meet at Rausch Saturday, aired down and registered by 9. We will be doing greens and blues, starting on the WEST property because we think there are some really fun trails down that way and we're usually getting to them late in the day and missing some of them. We definitely want to mix it up a bit as I have to plan runs once a month that do not end up boring people that show up each time! (another reason I'm considering the Pinebarrens very soon....at least there are things to visit there, nice camping and some easy, but fun wheeling!) See you on the 11th! So far its: Me and Chris and Adam (Chris' Nephew) Clay and Gretchen Greg and his nephew Jeff and Angela and Grace (their daughter) Tom and Machelle and 4 of their kids Robby

| Pattey, I've got a commitment at church at 8:00 am on Saturday (the 11th) for a Sacrificial Breakfast. I've got to run the A-V room. We're painting eggs with the grandkids on Friday, so I might possibly be able to make it to RC by 10:30 or 11:00 if I could meet up with you guys. For now, just list me as a "possible late arrival." |

| Awesome, Ed! Sounds like you have a blessed morning going on! Have fun!!! If you do decide to come at lunch, we can plan lunch in the staging area at a picnic table or something. |

| S'up everyone! I should be able to go to this...and IF I do go, my nephew might ride shotgun with me. He saw the 4Runner the other day in the driveway covered in mud and is dying to go, so now's his chance! I'll touch base as we get closer to the date. Later. Greg TOYMN8R PS. Great time on the 3/21-3/22 run, as usual! |

| As of now I still don't have my YJ back (4+ weeks). After having the gas tank and skid plate replaced--now the fuel pump won't work. So . . . I won't be making the ride on the 11th. I don't intend to hi-jack this thread, but if you'd like the brief history of what my Jeep has been going through: In March of '08 I culminated a lot of major damage to the YJ. On April 20, '08, a wrenching party corrected some of the problems, missed some others, and added a two inch suspension lift to my rig. The extra lift threw the drive train angle badly out of whack and I've been suffering with that problem ever since, although some work was done to lessen the vibrations. On March 7 of this year I developed some major clunking and thumping while on the Christian Crawlers trail ride. The entire next week the Jeep was at a garage to try to determine the cause of the problem, and it was determined that I needed an SYE kit and CV drive shaft. I had previous plans to take the YJ to Skid Row on March 16 to have rocker panel guards installed. Eric immediately noticed that my transfer case and skid plate had been badly pushed up into the body and that the drive shaft was actually hitting the floor boards and that was the cause of the severe angle. He said the SYE kit and CV shaft wouldn't have solved that problem. So he went about installing the rocker guards and found out that my 1 inch body lift (done a few years ago) was not done properly and had parts missing. When he replaced th missing parts, the rear end would sit back down on the frame due to the badly dented gas tank and skid. He doesn't make a gas tanks skid for a YJ, so I ordered one from Kilby. In the mean time, while working on the transfer case/drive shfat thingy, he discovered that my pinion yoke was shot. He also discovered that my front axle vent was destroyed and that the fan clutch was bad. Saturday when he dropped the gas tank, he discovered a crack in my gas tank and said it should be replaced. Sunday I located a used YJ gas tank at a reasonable price and delivered it to Eric. Today (or was it yesterday, he discovered that the holes in the KIlby skid wouldn't linke up with the holes in the YJ. Since I have one of the very last few YJ manufactured, they had already coverted the cross memeber to that of a TJ. So the YJ gas tank skid would not line up with the TJ cross member. He redrilled the holes and I went to pick up the Jeep at 4:30 this afternoon. Literally, as I was pulling into his driveway, he called my cell phone to tell me not to come, the fuel pump wouldn't work. This current issue with the fuel pump has him stumped and he says that it will take two people to work on it at the same time to find the sollution. At this point my investment is well over 1K and my reserves are drained (except for emergencies and the Jeep does not qualify as an emergency--no matter how much my grandson loves it!). Bullfrog has offered to take the SYE kit that I purchased in exchange for labor. I know I've said this before, but I'm pretty sure that I'm going to have to keep off the trails for a little while--at least till I can afford the next calamity. |

| Awesome, Clay! See you there! Robby...I believe there's: Me and Chris and Adam (Chris' Nephew) Clay and Gretchen Greg and his nephew Jeff and Angela and Grace (their daughter) Tom and Machelle and 4 of their kids Robby ...and YOU? Can you make it? The egg hunt will be at the area around the base of the 3 nasty hillclimbs out by the old entrance. Maybe even in a couple places nearby there. I'll try to keep out of the prickers!!!! hehehehe We have to find a good spot. We're starting in the West and doing some goopy stuff. It'll be a good day. I'm trying really hard not to repeat itinerary too often...but there's no avoiding it at some point!!!
