i have a 6'' lift kit for my mid 70s chevy truck. the kit has metal lifting blocks ... is this good for rock crawling or will it give to much axle wrap ? i know the rubber blocks are no good for crawling.

I'd definately try to get a full spring pack...I've seen too many blocks shoot out on the trail with less than desirable results...
The 73 - 87 Chevy has many companies that offer full lift spring packs...well worth the extra money.

Just ask Junkyard what the outcome is.... He still does not believe us that they are junk but..... they are!! They look ok on a street but do not last on the trails.

If I did not make my self clear. No

Go with this no blocks, no lift springs. Uses stock springs, better flex and articulation.

I'd go with the Shackle Flip that CamoK5 linked to. Then ya can throw on a set of revolver shackles to get a ton more droop for better articulation.
