PostSubject: YJ/CJ Parts   Sat Jul 04, 2009 2:28 pm

The following parts were not in or on my YJ at the time of the accident yesterday. I'm definitely selling the Jeep in one way or another, so if someone else buys it whole, they'll get first crack at these parts I'm listing here.

YJ/CJ grey (or should I say faded black) hardtop. I believe it's a Steelhorse, but can't find any markings on it. There is no wiper or rear defroster in this unit. It will come with 10 wing screws to attach it to the body, but you'll need to find your own nuts. (I just epoxyed the existing nuts to the body of the YJ last week.) I would like to get $250.00.

Left and right CJ/YJ full hard dorrs. Originally orange in color, but now painted red to match my YJ. There was some rust when I purchased the doors, but Pete Fabricy did some cutting, welding, and body putty work to get them whole again. Windwos are fully functional. The locks are extremely difficult to turn. I don't recall any dents, but here are a few pinstripes. I paid $300 and put a lot more into them. If I could get $300, I'd be happy.

Grey vinyl fold and tumble rear seat from the YJ. No rips or tears. $30. I also have the floor mounts for this seat, but will not sell them seperately unless the person who buys the seat doesn't want them.

Front Dana 30 HP YJ axle shafts. One driver, one passenger. $30.00 each.

I MIGHT possibly be selling my Hoist-A-Top if my next vehicle doesn't have a hard top. $75.00.

NIB: 500 pound capaity hitch mount luggage carrier. $40.00.

These parts WERE in the accident and I can't verify their condition until Monday:

SuperFlow MV-50 air compressor. $25.00

Portable hunter's toilet seat, bags, and legs. Free.

Two heavy capaity Clevises/shaclkes. $5.00 each.

Tuffy behind the rear seat locking metal storage box. $50.00

Two cheap aluminum locking tool boxes (located on my rear wells). $5.00 each

Siphon--ball pump. $5.00.

Two Hi-Lift copycat 4 foot jacks. Off brands. $30.00 each. One was in the accident, one was not.

Hi Lift brand wheel lifting attachment for jack. $5.00.

If I decide to part out the YJ I'll post up at that time.

Here's a link to the compressor on Amazon. This is a complete self-contained, portable unit. No air tanks.

Is he looking for the complete axles, or just the shafts? The front is a Dana 30 HP with vaccum disconnect. The rear is a Dana 35 with an Aussie locker. Both are 4:10 gear ratio and (i believe) 27 spline.

I have someone who is going to tear the YJ apart for me, so let me know how he'd like it assembled/disassembled. I'd like $500 total for the complete front and rear axle. The price will be reduced if it doesn't sell for a long time. It's the locker that makes it expensive.

This will not be a "You Pull It." He can pick it up or arrange for delivery at an extra charge.

All six (6) tires and wheels for $200 (you pick up). Delivery will be extra.

Tollboxes are very cheap $5.00 each and I'll even give you the combination, or change it for you. Shipping will be more expensive than the boxes.

The tool boxes are regular aluminum tool boxes about 19 inches long, 10 inches deep, and 12 inches high. I simply drilled holes through the bottom and through the top of the wheel wells and mounted them with selkf tapping screws.

Do you want the tires and wheels, or just the tires? I have another buyer who is interested in both. I don't have the ability to un-mount the tires. The Jeep is about 15 minutes away from my home and we've got a medical emercency at the house today so I won't be able to measure tread depth till tomorrow

Call me at (717) 979-0838.

New Prices:

I was told by the guy who will be parting out my YJ that I'm asking too much for the axles, even with the locker. Here's my new prices:

Front axle (complete) -- $150.00
Rear Axle (complete) -- $200.00

Both Axles -- $300.00

Let me know if he's interested. I'd prefer a phone call, (717) 979-0838, AND an email, maned175@comcast.net.
