Injury on the trails

The people who wheeled with us yesterday met Paul, the boy that was hanging out with Steven and his other friend.....Chris just called me to inform me that just a short time ago, he fell while out on the trails and hit his head pretty good. They believe he had a seizure and is now awake and talking/joking but they are currently trying to get him off the trails and to the ambulance that is waiting in the staging area of the park. PRAISE GOD for putting me in the right place!!!! I will be starting at UPPER CHESAPEAKE HEALTH in the operating room as of December 14th. That will shorten my commute from 85 miles a day to 7. Yes, 7. I will be working three 12 hour days a week. That's it. NIIIICE!!!! wow its about time i get a real job. i have a job at excelon peach bottom doing security. doing 8 weeks of classes before i can go out on my own. wow its seems exciting but scary at the same time. God finally gave me a job. after being laid off since march. but i think he did it on purpose so i can be with my family and get things done around the house that is a year behind due to deployment. God is good all the time. p.s. i know i know dont fall asleep and let your friends video. lol

Patteys Mom

Those of you who have been around awhile may know that Patteys Mom has suffered from back issues for a long time. Well now she is in the hospital for Pancreatitis. Which is inflammation or infection of the pancreas. She says it is a very painful thing. She is waiting to hear from her Dad about whether or not her mom will have surgery. Please pray for Pattey and her Mom and Dad and the rest of the family.

I am traveling about 90 miles (one way) to look into purchasing a 2006 Wrangler X at a Jeep Dealer. I have already been approved for credit by my credit union for more than I really want to pay.

I ask for your prayers that I don't get "ripped off" by dealership "games," and that I'll have the common sense to walk out if things get "pushy." And I need to remember at all times that I'm a Christian.

This weekend at our church (MOUNTAN CHRISTIAN CHURCH in Joppa, MD) had something they called "BAPTISM SPLASH". Several people had signed up to be baptised (both in the Cook Auditorium which is the Old Church and in the New Life Center which is the new huge main center...where those of you who came to me and Chris' baptism were) but when all was said and done....between the two centers and the 9am and 11am services, over 250 people were baptised in Christ!!!! They had pools in both places ...

Hey guys, I have the opportunity to speak at church on Feb 22. I just ask that you would pray for me as I decide what to speak about and prepare for the sermon. It is not my first one but it is not too common of an occurrence either so it is a little bit unnerving. I already know I'm useless without God and as G.I. Joe says "knowing is half the battle". 14 year old Chow mix. We had his mother and kept a puppy and he was a little ball of fur so he was named Pudgie. Later he was skinny but the name stuck anyway. We had to put him to sleep tonight. Please pray for my ex wife and son who are taking it VERY badly.

Our Baptism

Hey guys...as some of you know (and were there!) Chris and I were baptised at our church yesterday. Chris grew up in the church and was b'tised at age 13, so it was a rededication. I was b'tised as a Catholic when I was a baby. So it's a rededication for me too, as a new Christian. We were super happy to do this. Then we had a little party afterwards. It was a super day!
