Although I belonged to the League before, I lost my sign in name and password, so I
re-joined today and ordered 30 Testaments. Each testament book has the Gospel of John
and at the beginning, a brief chapter on Jesus, God, what it is to be a Christian, etc etc.

They're GREAT books and I think they'll come in handy on the trails and out at events.

I got 3 different covers: desert cammo, a flag/eagle design, and one that makes it look
like it's a paper bag wrapper with a hemplike tie-bow with the image of a card that says,
"the greatest gift".

Can't wait to get them. I used to hand them out all the time. I even gave one to a cop that
had pulled me over and gave me just a warning. He smiled and said thank you and walked
away. I wonder what he thought when he opened it and saw what it was. (it was a cammo
design with no wordds on the front and all I said was, "here, this is for you".

Sweet that will be great to have and hand out to others.

The request a $20 donation. It's not necessary, but I usually do it so that they can keep on making them.

POCKET TESTAMENT LEAGUE

Pattey, I never heard if you got them and how they were working for you. I'm considering getting some for CC and my church.

Oh yah.....I've been giving out the Pocket Testaments since 2003. People love them!

I used to give them out with a bagged lunch to the homeless people begging at the
traffic lights, at the homeless shelter and the crisis center I volunteered at.

We gave out the last of one batch at the PA JEEP Show and we have a booth at the
church on the 11th (small groups fair) and we'll have some with our cards and stuff
in them.

It's easy...just sign up and you get them really quickly!

Yeah Jeff I have about 80 of them with me too. I paid some for them but it was a "donation" because I ordered so many.

i ordered some monday got them sat. i am challenging the members of my church to give at least two a week for a month. if only 13 people
hand out 2 aweek the church would have witnessed to 100 people. something to think about as a club if every member would hand out two a week
or more just think of the numbers of people that would be getting the word. no matter what job you do you at least run into 2 people that you dont know. if you dont then open the telephone book and pick two people and send them a pocket testament you dont have to put return adress and let God do the rest.

Thats a great idea. I have 80 of them in my study now.
