For those of you who may not have heard, I rolled my YJ over 4 or 5 times yesterday going down the mountain side from the power line almost down to trail H. It was driver's error on my part. Gary (babynsaw) was riding shot gun with me. We both got pretty banged up, but just cuts and bruises. As for the Jeep: My guess would be that it's totaled. For details check the "July 3 Family Ride" posts under the "Trail Ride Discussion" thread at Rausch Creek's web site, and "July 3 Family Ride" and "I'm OK" posts under the "Post Trail Ride Discussion" thread.

Great Scott! I'm glad you guys are (basically) OK. I guess that factory roll cage did its job. I'll be praying for a speedy and complete recovery for both of you guys.

Ed, this is Pattey....I'm on Chris' computer...I am so sorry that this happened. It must have been frightening!!!! I'm so glad you and Gary are okay and I hope the soreness of the 'next day' is not as bad as one would expect. Chris and I were completely unnerved by your account of what happened...but are super glad God kept you and Gary safe. It must have felt like slow motion to you guys...then on the other hand, maybe it happened so quickly thatyou didn't have time to register what was happening. Either way, it must have been quite a moment. I pray you guys are feeling well and that nothing creeps up later on as far as your back goes. Be safe and God bless (and He does!!!)

Since it is still on it's side it does not look like it took too much damage. I am sure it is worse on level ground though.

The YJ is now sitting in my rentan garage in Lemoyne, PA. It looks to be in good enough shape for someone who didn't mind putting some money into it. But in all honesty, I'm sure its totaled. The front, rear, and passenger side seem to have come away unscathed. The light bar prevented the windshield from being pushed into us. The roll cage did its job, but is pretty messed up. It can't be steered right now (I was trying to steer when Big D and Tommy pushed it into the garage today). I'm definitely parting it out--see "FOR SALE" thread.
