TMI is getting new steam generators. A lot of road closures happening as they transport them up to the plant. Found this and thought I'd share

TMI Shipment Road Closure and Detour Information
The new steam generators being transported to TMI are replacement components. They contain no radioactive materials. Signs will direct drivers to detours. For additional information, please see http://www.us.areva-np.com/tmisteamgenerator.
The following road closures and delays are pending on unforeseen delays and weather-permitting:
September 8th: Affects Cecil County, Maryland
• MD 222 will close from MD 276 to Bainbridge Naval Training Center Historical Association Inc.
• MD 222 traffic will be detoured via MD 276 (Jacob Tome Memorial Highway) and MD 275.
Signs will direct travelers through the detours. This closure is anticipated to last two days.
September 13th: Affects Cecil County, Maryland & Chester County, Pennsylvania
• MD 276 will close from MD 275 to MD 273 and through to US 1. US 1 will be closed to traffic as well, from MD 276 to the Maryland-Pennsylvania border.
• MD 276 traffic will be detoured via MD 222 (Susquehanna River Road) and US 1 (Conowingo Road). US 1 traffic will be detoured via MD 273, MD 272, and PA 272.
• Southbound US 1 will be closed in Pennsylvania at PA 272 (Christine Road).
Signs will direct travelers through the detours. This closure is anticipated to last two days.

TMI Shipment Road Closure and Detour Information
September 14th: Affects Cecil County, Maryland & Chester and Lancaster Counties, Pennsylvania
• US 1 will close from MD 276 to PA 272 interchange. PA 272 (Christine Road / Nottingham Road) will be closed to traffic as well, from the US 1 interchange to the intersection of SR 2003 (Little Britain Road).
• US 1 traffic will be detoured via MD Route 273 (Main Street / Telegraph Road), MD Route 272 (Chrome Road), SR 3107 (Barnsley Chrome Road), SR 3026 (Baltimore Pike / 3rd Street), and SR 472.
• PA 272 (Christine Road) traffic will be detoured via SR 3107, SR 3026, PA 472, SR 2009 (Noble Road), and SR 2003 (Little Britain Road).
Signs will direct travelers through the detours. The US 1 closure is anticipated to last one day. The PA 272 (Christine Road / Nottingham Road) closure is anticipated to last two days.
September 15th: Affects Chester and Lancaster Counties, Pennsylvania
• PA 272 (Christine Road / Nottingham Road) will remain closed to traffic, from the US 1 interchange to the intersection of SR 2003 (Little Britain Road).
• PA 272 (Christine Road / Nottingham Road) traffic will be detoured via US 1, PA 472, SR 2009 (Noble Road), and SR 2003 (Little Britain Road).
Signs will direct travelers through the detours. This closure is anticipated to last one day.

• PA 272 (Nottingham Road) will close from SR 2003 (Little Britain Road) to its intersection with US 222 and through to its intersection with PA 372.
• PA 272 (Nottingham Road) traffic will be detoured via SR 2003 (Little Britain Road), US 222, and PA 372 (Buck Road).
Signs will direct travelers through the detours. This closure is anticipated to last one day.
September 17th: Affects Lancaster County, Pennsylvania
• PA 272 (Lancaster Pike) will close from PA 372 to the PA 741 / US 222 Junction.
• PA 272 (Lancaster Pike) traffic will be detoured via SR 3010 (Scotland Road) and US 222.
Signs will direct travelers through the detours. This closure is anticipated to last one day.
September 18th: Affects Lancaster County, Pennsylvania
• PA 272 (Lancaster Pike) will close from PA 372 to PA 741 / US 222 Junction. PA 741 will close as well, from US 222 to PA 324. SRs 3032 and 3030 (Long Lane) will also be closed, from PA 324 to Rock Hill Road. PA 272 (Lancaster Pike) traffic will be detoured via PA 372 and US 222.
• Traffic on PA 741 and Long Lane will be detoured via US 222 (Lancaster Pike), PA 23, PA 462, PA 999 (Millersville Pike), SR 3029 (George Street), SR 3032 (Letort Road), and SR 3017 (Safe Harbor Road). Westbound traffic will be detoured through Lancaster via Queen Street, Church Street, Lime Street, Walnut Street, Race Avenue, Columbia Avenue, King Street, and Manor Street. Eastbound traffic will be detoured through Lancaster via Manor Street, King Street, and Prince Street.
Signs will direct travelers through the detours. These closures are anticipated to last one day.

• Traffic on SR 3030 (Conestoga Boulevard) and SR 3017 (River Road) will be detoured via SR 3022 (Main Street / New Danville Pike), SR 3032 (Long Lane / Stehmans Road / Duke Street), SR 3032 (Letort Road), and SR 3017 (Safe Harbor Road).
Signs will direct travelers through the detours. These closures are anticipated to last two days.
September 23rd: Affects Lancaster County, Pennsylvania
• SRs 3017 and 3030 (River Road) will close from SR 3030 (Conestoga Boulevard) to SR 3032 (Letort Road).
• Traffic on SRs 3017 and 3030 (River Road) will be detoured via SR 3030 (Conestoga Boulevard/ Slackwater Road), SR 3022 (Duke Street), and SR 3032 (Letort Road).
Signs will direct travelers through the detours. These closures are anticipated to last one day.
September 24th: Affects Lancaster County, Pennsylvania
• SR 3030 (River Road) will close from SR 3032 (Letort Road) to PA 999. PA 441 will close as well, from PA 999 to PA 462 (Chestnut Street).
• Traffic on SR 3030 (River Road) and PA 441 will be detoured via SR 3032 (Letort Road), SR 3017 (Central Manor Road), SR 3036 (Franklin Road), and PA 462 (Lancaster Avenue, 5th Street, Chestnut Street).
• Front Street will also be closed.
Signs will direct travelers through the detours. These closures are anticipated to last one day.

September 25th: Affects Lancaster County, Pennsylvania
• Front and Bridge Streets will close between Locust Street (PA 441) and 2nd Street. 2nd Street will close as well, from Chestnut Street to Linden Street. Linden Street will also be closed, from 2nd Street to N. 3rd Street.
• Traffic on Front, Bridge, 2nd, and Linden Streets will be detoured via 3rd Street (PA 441) in Columbia Borough.
Signs will direct travelers away from the closures. These closures are anticipated to last one day.
September 27th (AM after midnight): Affects Lancaster and York Counties, Pennsylvania.
• US 30 will close between the SR 4005 (Prospect Road) interchange and the SR 1016 (Cool Creek Road) interchange. PA 441 (Chiques Hill Road) will also close from Cedar Street to Breezyview Drive.
• US 30 traffic will be detoured via SR 4005 (Prospect Road), PA 462 (Columbia Avenue / Lancaster Avenue), and SR 1016 (Cool Creek Road).
• Traffic on PA 441 will be detoured via PA 462, SRs 4005 and 4001 (Prospect Road), and PA 23.
• Linden Street from 2nd Street to US 30 W off-ramp will be closed until the transport crosses US 30.
Signs will direct travelers through the detours. These closures are anticipated to last six hours.
September 28th: Affects Lancaster County, Pennsylvania
• PA 441 (Chiques Hill Road / River Road) will close from the US 30 Off-Ramp to Vinegar Ferry Road.
• PA 441 traffic will be detoured via US 30, SR 4005 (Prospect Road), SR 4001(Prospect Road / Spooky Nook Road), PA 283, PA 230 (Main Street), PA 772 (New Haven Street), SR 4002 (Donegal Springs Road), and SR 4004 (Stacktown Road).
Signs will direct travelers through the detours. This closure is anticipated to last one day.

• PA 441 (River Road) will close from PA 743 to North 2nd Street in Bainbridge. Engle Road and SR 4004 (Stacktown Road) will also close between Engle Road and PA 441.
• Traffic on PA 441 will be detoured via PA 743 (Maytown Road), PA 230 (Market Street), PA 241 (High Street), and SR 4008 (Turnpike Road).
Signs will direct travelers through the detours. These closures are anticipated to last one day.
September 30th: Affects Lancaster and Dauphin Counties, Pennsylvania
• PA 441 (River Road) will close from PA 241 (Bainbridge Road) to Geyers Church Road.
• Truck traffic on PA 441 will be detoured via PA 743 (Maytown Road) and PA 230 (Market Street / Harrisburg Pike / Main Street). All other traffic on PA 441 will be detoured via PA 241 (Bainbridge Road / High Street) and PA 230.
Signs will direct travelers through the detours. This closure is anticipated to last one day.

affraid wow, that was a mouthful! Well, it looks like it doesn't even effect any of the roads I take home. Yey!!!
