thanks for the responses. the guy who's bugging me is a Christian (at least that's what he claims on his profile page). maybe i'll put up my ac130 gunship avatar, just to settle him down

I would go with a care bears avatar.

Are you sure? Little possessed animals that shoot hypnotic beams from their stomachs? Hmmmm, sounds kinda evil...

Yeah they are definitely more evil than darth maul. One time one of our exhange students from germany bought me the pink care bear right before she left to go home. I guess she thought I was nice as well as protective of her. lol.

How bout a plain beige avatar... aint nothing more neutral than beige.

LOL.....believe it or not, the guy was alright with the gunship

but then he had to chastize me for my warped sense of humor......the basic jist i got form him was that humor is ok, but not ok. i almost wonder if he's not a muslim, they seem to be pretty uptight too. anyway, i'm still a huge star wars fan, i still have darth maul in my collection.

here's some interesting things i dug up

I am offended by beige. As a white christian in America, I feel as though white is acceptable as neutral. As white is the color you get by adding equal amounts of color together. Therefore, beige is not neutral. It is in fact extremely biased and therefore offensive. Sir, you have a very poor sense of humor!!!

Jeff, I am offended by your over use of the lol! smilie. ....wait, I'm offended by you! bounce moon

I am an E.O.O. Equal Opportunity Offender. I don't discriminate in who I offend. hehehe.

Some people are just too danged upstrung-tight in what they find offensive. About the only things that I find truly offensive is when my Lord is blatantly attacked. Everything else goes through a subconscious filter; Does the potentially offensive act/ issue/ incident change who I am and Who's I am?
