Ya know, when I bought my Xterra in 2008, I had seriously looked at Jeeps but the dealer wouldn't or couldn't work with me on finding a rubicon. They said they were too hard to find.

Anyway, I went to jeeps site yesterday and noticed they aren't offering the 4 doors anymore...

Is this true for sure? I was doing one of those build your own jeep thing up when I realized there was no option on the 2009 for a 4-dor in any model.

What you may be running into (and this is what we ran into in '07) was that around the Sept. time frame manufacturers have ceased building for the current model year. We were ready to get our jeep in Aug of '07 but could not find a Sahara equipped the way we wanted (unlimited, manual w/ towing package). We had to wait until the beginning of Oct' of '07 to actually order the beast.

As far as I know, the auto pricing sites all have the 2010 Jeep Unlimited listed as an option. Right now if you are looking, you won't be able to build online until they start popping the '10 models off the assembly line - but you WOULD be able to build/price one at a dealership (if you can find one that isn't over zealous and pushy... we got lucky).
