I need everyone's input on this one. What do you think of going month to month as far as the 2010 trail run schedule goes....and we can ask what weekend is best though a poll...and the majority of the votes on a specific weekend wins? We can put up a poll for January at the beginning of December, February at the beginning of January, and so on. At least we can all take a look at our schedules and see what would be the best weekend. I know there are a lot of you that are flexible and come to pretty much every run, but I want your input too. If there's no input, we'll make up our own rules. Which is the opposite of what we want. We want this to be up to you guys whether that sounds fair or if you just want us to go ahead and make a schedule and everyone can work it out themselves. We could always just say it's the 3rd (or 1st, or 2nd, or 4th) weekend of the month and leave it at that. Just post up and let us know what you think is fair.

Do you mean, "you should do it for two months out INSTEAD OF a month out"???? because I said it'd be at least month out. I understand what you mean by having a whole schedule made and you can plan around it. That's what I did last year.
I just want to give the majority its rule.
The Only DEFINITES:
There will NOT be one (at least not with me and Chris being there) in JUNE as we are getting married and going on our honeymoon.
Our Annual May Pine Barren run is the weekend of Memorial Day. NO changes on that one. Last year was amazingly awesome with the wheeling and camping and we made some new friends at the Church we visited that sunday morning.
We have to check the schedule for the RCRocs competitions at Rausch, as a few of us in here are judges and need to be there for that. But we can make it a combo weekend, as they only run the comp on saturday.
ANyway...thank you for your .025 cents....I can handle at least a nickle, so keep bringing it!!! |

As of right now.....consider it done. I think it's a good idea and allows people to have input on each ride. We'll see who else comments and what their ideas/agreements are. Thanks guys!

I am going to be difficult and say I like the idea of a set schedule. That is all... no further input. Lol. I also have only been to one run so my input is worth like 1/8 of a penny. (if that) haha.

no, your opinion matters too....so we can see you more often! I'm loving the idea of a two-month-prior-vote. I see with your three comments that you like it too. We'll keep it open to comments for a couple more days and see what happens.

We like the idea of a set schedule too. If that is not going to work then I would say at least two month's out.

I like a set schedule of dates so I know the dates way ahead of time. You can set the venues later on. _________________

I like the idea of input but I think you should go one quarter out for example Jan, Feb, Mar and then April, May, June and then July, Aug, Sept, and then Oct, Nov, Dec. I know that may seem a long period however I know in my line of work our schedule is at least done two months in advance and if I try to get off on a weekend that I am scheduled to work it takes time to find someone. I realize that was a run on sentence but do not really care. As it sits now most of the weekends you have had were my weekends to work (I work every other) and this is the main reason I have only been once so far. Yes the Sept ride did my Dakota some damage but I have moved on and bought a Cherokee and in the planning stage now so next time I won't be in the Dakota. This is my 20 cents worth. Hope all is well with everyone. Hope to see you soon. Dakota John
